Summary: Yuzu's boys arrived in completely different places, but thanks to Yuzu, the time to reunite everyone can come very soon.

Rating: It'll be pretty PG, these are young kids after all, even if Gongenzaka is built otherwise. Nobody here is particularly fond of swearing if they don't have to.

[ As elated as Yuzu was to find both of her childhood friends arriving at the same time... it certainly brought a great deal of stress, because Gongenzaka woke up in Goldenrod with a bunch of Rockets, and Yuya woke up in New Bark Town with Fake Mom.

So, neither of them had any form of particularly fast travel, neither could warp anywhere, but Yuzu on the other hand? She had both of those things. A fast way to travel, and the ability to warp from Goldenrod to Cherrygrove... at the expense of her lunch. Yeah, warping in quick succession like that? Not fun, would not recommend.

Point is, she's had to—and has been—working very hard.

Still, after picking up Yuya and stopping at Cherrygrove to sleep and calm down from everything happening all at once, it was just a matter of Yuzu and Yuya hopping on Soprano the Altaria and flying over to Violet while Gon made his way on foot. Something she'd have to apologize for later, but she can't be in two places at once unfortunately, and unlike Yuya? Gongenzaka can take care of himself.

Even if he is on the run from Team Rocket.

...listen, this is as good of a plan they could make. Violet City is within walking distance from Goldenrod, and a shorter distance as well compared to Cherrygrove. Said-distance is made easier with the fact that Yuya and Yuzu are flying, though they do have to stop to let Soprano rest regularly. Plus, Gon said that he was being offered help in order to get everything sorted out, which made things easier on Yuzu.

So, after a flight that felt longer than it was, Violet City comes into view, and Soprano touches down just past the gate into the city. ]

Thanks, Soprano... you did great.

[ Soprano worked hard to get them here as fast as they could, so she deserves a nice long rest inside her Pokeball. Yuzu will spoil her later. ]

Alright, we're here... now we just need to find Gongenzaka.

[ If it comes down to it, she can send out Solo to fly above and look for him, but considering how large Gon is, it shouldn't be too hard to spot him if he's here and they look around. ]

[Yuya nods.] We got everything while we were in Violet for a few days, since we didn't know where to go.

[Well, they only have one tent but Yuya doesn't know that's gonna be a problem for him yet. He stuffs the rest of the onigiri in his mouth before setting his pokegear on the table and tapping to the map.] I guess we can't fly there with all three of us...

[Don't. Don't mind the rice sprayed on the table.]

[ Yuya's eating habits are nothing new to either of them. ]

Of course not. For some reason, you can't ride on a flying on a Pokemon unless they know the move Fly, and right now? Only Soprano knows that... and she's not carrying all 3 of us.

[ Don't ask her why that is. She could totally fly on Solo, but he doesn't know Fly yet. ]

Besides, it's a little rough at first, but camping outside isn't that bad once you get used to it.

I have not seen 'Soprano', but to make any creature carry three would be too much to expect, [Gongenzaka agrees.] So walking will be fine. For me at least, [He adds with a grin,] It is easy training!

It should give us time to grow more familiar with this world as well; above the ground, you can only see so much and do so much! [Hint hint Yuuya.]

Well, we really wanted to find you quickly. [And he won't mention carrying Gon is the real problem...

Yuya looks up.] There's got to be a road or something. Should we leave before it gets dark?

[ Yuzu nods in agreement. Yuya got to skip the first part of this region, but not anymore! ]

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Oh! I'll also introduce all of you to my team when we start setting up camp for the night.

Hmm, leaving earlier would be best, [Gongenzaka determines, ignorant to Yuuya's thoughts.] Looking to the map at least, we can see a road we are meant to take- I, the man Gongenzaka, can be ready to leave as soon as I have finished this, [he adds, holding his onigiri.]

[Yuya grabs for another one while Gon takes his time.] Your pokemon team, right? How many do you have?

Mm, it shouldn't take too long for us to get there.

[ As for Yuya's question, she takes a bite out of her own onigiri again before answering. ]

6, the maximum you can have on you at a time. Actually...

[ The place is practically empty right now because of the bug catching competition outside, so it shouldn't be a problem to let them out for a little bit. ]

A group of six seems strong enough; you are one short of a full hand, after all.

[It makes sense, shut-] Mn- given the space, and the time, that would be wonderful!

Six?! [Yuya chokes on rice. That's as many pets as he has back home, Yuzu, why is that the standard.] Uh--sure. How do you feed them...?

Alright, Aria come over here!

[ Aria looks up from playing with Yuya's Yamper and runs over, sitting down in front of Yuzu as she stands up, pulling out her Pokeballs. ]

Alright, come out everyone!

[ And out they all come! Aria the Sylveon, Diva the Tsareena, Solo the Staraptor, Soprano the Altaria, Mozart the Gallade, and Schubert the Garchomp.

A bit bigger than the pets you have at home, aren't they, Yuya? ]

...They look more akin to duel monsters than animals... [Gongenzaka looks to Ouni, and rubs his chin.] I, the man Gongenzaka, had wondered if perhaps Ouni was unique but...it seems if anything, this appearance is more common than anything else!

[Yuya stares for a minute, because Gon's right--they were already really weird as animals, but there are animal-shaped duel monsters, so maybe the variety is more like that? Except... not spirits possessing the shapes of characters on cards.

He sits up.] Do they understand everything you say?

Mm... kind of? They understand me, but they can't speak our language.

[ Schubert will lean down and tart nudging Yuya with it's nose, Diva following along and squinting up at Yuya as if trying to judge him. Aria hops back up onto Yuzu's shoulder while Soprano and Solo head up to Gongenzaka. Mozart, meanwhile, is just...

...standing off by himself, don't mind him. ]

Well, here are the birds, no doubt staring at Gon's egg. He'll let them for now, focusing on Yuzu.] Hnnn, I did notice that they are fairly intelligent- even Mujina, who appears to be but a mere badger type creature, seems to understand my intentions as given!

[Yuya freezes as Schubert starts pushing with its nose, until that's all it is and he relaxes a little. Should he... reach to pet it? Is that weird? He did it to his yamper, but yamper was more of a dog in its... everything.

Like nosing through his backpack while he's distracted.] Uh, hey there! I'm Yuzu's friend too.

[ Schubert lets out a soft growl as he nudges Yuya. Yes, give him pets, don't be afraid. Similarly, Diva looks to be getting slowly annoyed, tapping her foot at a slowly-increasing rate. Give her pats as well?? Hurry up??

Solo and Soprano, meanwhile, absolutely are staring at Gongenzaka's egg. If Gongenzaka will let him, Solo will even attempt to perch on his shoulder. ]

Aha, they want you to pet them, Yuya. [ Thank you, Yuzu, for making that properly clear. ] And you're right, they're very intelligent. They understand what I'm saying, especially in battle when I tell them which moves to use.

[ At which point, she'll notice Mozart being a lil emo shit away from everyone else. ]

Oi, Mozart! Come say hello to my friends!

[ If you look closely, you'll see a pout on his face. Let him look cool, Yuzu! ]

[Of course he will let birds perch!! Come Solo, up you go!

For their own part, Mujina and Ouni are just sort of staring. That's....Balance...]

Hmn...! A truly proud seeming beast, [he compliments the bird, nodding.] While your Soprano radiates instead elegance..! I, the man Gongenzaka, can see how they could be key members of a team for you!

[It has nothing to do with moveset, of course!]

Oh! [Okay, then he reaches a hand out to each of them to carefully stroke their heads.] Did you name them all after music?

[ Solo preens from the praise, lifting up one wing to brush the sharp pompadour on his head. He is indeed a proud beast! Nice hair, by the way.

The annoyance from Diva vanishes instantly as Yuya starts to stroke their heads, and Schubert lets out a soft and gentle growl that almost sounds like a purr. ]

Yep! I liked to stick to a theme with their names.

[ Also, Melodious names... yeah. Diva technically isn't a musical name, but y'know, Bloom Diva... ]

You should've seen them when I first caught them, though! I heard about evolution pretty early on, but they really do get pretty big don't they?

[ Everyone on Yuzu's current team used to be much smaller... barring Aria, who's a little smaller than most Sylveon. ]

These are the names of your Melodious monsters as well! They must have inspired you incredibly to pick such names! [he exclaims.]

Named after your duel monsters, huh... [Would Odd-Eyes get jealous if he named something else the same thing?

... Probably.] They evolve as they get... stronger, right? [Not older, it's not aging.] So how strong are they?

Mmhm! I just... always liked music, you know? I wanted to stick with that, even here.

[ After all, her Melodious monsters had appealed to her when she was young... and that was something that had never really changed. ]

Mmhm, I think your Yamper can evolve too, though I haven't seen what it evolves into.

[ As for how strong they are, she... actually looks a little sheepish as she answers. ]

Ehehe, well... I slowed down on my Gym Challenge for a little bit in Goldenrod, but I still kept training, and um...

[ She rubs the back of her head, ahaha... ]

W-When I challenged Whitney in Goldenrod, I um... won pretty easily, and uh... she started... crying...

[ Yeah, that uh... was awkward for her and Yuzu's entire team, actually. Oops?? ]

I-I found out she does that a lot when she loses against a challenger, but... ehehe... we may have trained a bit much...

Hmmmmm...I, the man Gongenzaka, wonder if the same will be the case for many of mine then...

[Rather ironically, two out of three 'so far' won't.] I, the man Gongenzaka, shall have to see for myself as they grow! [he says with a grin.

And then Yuzu keeps going. And then Yuzu...starts to slow down on what she's saying, and awkwardly so. And...
