Summary: Yuzu's boys arrived in completely different places, but thanks to Yuzu, the time to reunite everyone can come very soon.

Rating: It'll be pretty PG, these are young kids after all, even if Gongenzaka is built otherwise. Nobody here is particularly fond of swearing if they don't have to.

[ As elated as Yuzu was to find both of her childhood friends arriving at the same time... it certainly brought a great deal of stress, because Gongenzaka woke up in Goldenrod with a bunch of Rockets, and Yuya woke up in New Bark Town with Fake Mom.

So, neither of them had any form of particularly fast travel, neither could warp anywhere, but Yuzu on the other hand? She had both of those things. A fast way to travel, and the ability to warp from Goldenrod to Cherrygrove... at the expense of her lunch. Yeah, warping in quick succession like that? Not fun, would not recommend.

Point is, she's had to—and has been—working very hard.

Still, after picking up Yuya and stopping at Cherrygrove to sleep and calm down from everything happening all at once, it was just a matter of Yuzu and Yuya hopping on Soprano the Altaria and flying over to Violet while Gon made his way on foot. Something she'd have to apologize for later, but she can't be in two places at once unfortunately, and unlike Yuya? Gongenzaka can take care of himself.

Even if he is on the run from Team Rocket.

...listen, this is as good of a plan they could make. Violet City is within walking distance from Goldenrod, and a shorter distance as well compared to Cherrygrove. Said-distance is made easier with the fact that Yuya and Yuzu are flying, though they do have to stop to let Soprano rest regularly. Plus, Gon said that he was being offered help in order to get everything sorted out, which made things easier on Yuzu.

So, after a flight that felt longer than it was, Violet City comes into view, and Soprano touches down just past the gate into the city. ]

Thanks, Soprano... you did great.

[ Soprano worked hard to get them here as fast as they could, so she deserves a nice long rest inside her Pokeball. Yuzu will spoil her later. ]

Alright, we're here... now we just need to find Gongenzaka.

[ If it comes down to it, she can send out Solo to fly above and look for him, but considering how large Gon is, it shouldn't be too hard to spot him if he's here and they look around. ]

[Yuya slides off Soprano shortly after Yuzu, his backpack secured by both straps so that his yamper can sit upright, peering over the open flap. Yes, he knows about the pokeballs. But yamper didn't want to go back in this morning and he didn't have the heart to force it.]

He'd be coming the other way, right? [Yuya pats down his pockets for his pokegear.] Maybe we can call him.

[ Hey, she gets it! Yuzu has her Sylveon perched on their shoulder herself, even when they were flying. ]

Yeah, let's try that. Soprano needs a break, though, so let's walk around as well.

[ Honestly, she's still tempted to send out Solo to fly overhead and look for him. She's just worried, is all. ]

[Well, then Yuya pulls out his Pokegear to give Gon a direct dial. Ring ring.] Which way should we go? Straight?

Mm, yeah. I spent a good amount of time here when I first woke up, so just follow me.

[ She'll wait for Gon to hopefully pick up, though. ]

[Ringring, hello this is Gon-

Gongenzaka seems only slightly occupied- he's managed to get his mawile to behave if only on the fact that there are literally only people trying to catch bugs here right now, but he might have his hands full if she tries to go for one of the prize winners. There is also something resembling a rocker badger, and he is holding...an egg?

Well anyway, the uniform is gone, and Gongenzaka looks somewhat odd in a normal, opened fall jacket and t-shirt (albeit with his sash over it), but at least he's clearly had time to rest and clean up; there's definitely signs that he slept somewhere outdoors, but wherever it was, there was some kind of cover, and his hair is in its usual, 'you will never see how long this is' state.] Moshiagema- OH! Yuuya!

I did not expect to hear from you yet! How are you and Yuzu?

We're fine! [He follows Yuzu, although his attention wanders to staring at the scenery as he takes in yet another new place.] On our way to meet you. Did you get out of Goldenrod City okay?

Gongenzaka! Yeah, are you alright??

[ Once she hears Yuya start talking to Gon, she's immediately at his side and onscreen. She lets out a sigh of relief when she sees that, albeit the signs of sleeping outside, he looks alright... and has an egg?

Wow, whoever offered to help must've been pretty generous. She'll have to find out who they are and thank them someday. ]

Oh boy trip be camping

[ It was still fairly late into the afternoon when they headed out, Yuzu at the front until the sun started to set, the sky darkening... a sign that they should set up camp before it gets too dark.

Except, as Yuzu set her bag down to pull out the camping gear... ]

Ah...

[ She pulls out one folded-up tent, big enough for one person.

Oops. ]

[Yuya looks at the tent... and sees exactly zero problem with it.]

Do you need help setting it up? [He's never pitched a tent in his life but how hard can it be?]

[betheman]

[Gongenzaka comes over to inspect the matter as well, apparently Also seeing no issue...albeit for very different reasons.]

Hmmm, it seems it shall be a tight fit for you both- but I, the man Gongenzaka, can surely help to pitch all the same! [he cheers.] It will go much faster..!

A-Aah! What are you two saying!!

[ She stands up sharply, holding the folded-up tent in her hands with red cheeks. ]

A-Ah, I mean, yeah I'd appreciate the help in pitching it... b-but we can't all sleep in it!

Huh? [Yuya slowly sets down yamper and looks between Gongenzaka and the tent.] But we can't make Gongenzaka sleep outside just because there's one tent!

[He sure is assuming he still gets tent rights, though.]

Hmm? The tent is clearly only large enough for two- I, the man Gongenzaka, am more than capable of sleeping outside for now!

ECRUTEAK - NOV 14 EVENING

[Ecruteak....is beautiful. It has the aura of a city like Kyoto, with an added peace of autumn fog, and a decrease in the frantic city nature that so overtakes parts of the real thing. The tradition here, it seems, is strong-

And they will have to observe most of that tomorrow, after a good night's sleep.]

H...HAAAAAUUUUHHHhhhhh... [Even Gongenzaka has to yawn- technically speaking, he would have gone to bed a little bit ago, but with only a short distance between themselves and the city, the decision to make the final stretch had been made. It was only a little further after all, and from there? Well from there, why not make one last push?

Of course then they had to find an inn that would work for all three, and so after finally settling into a traditional style one with provided breakfast, they were getting ready to lay out the futons.

Gongenzaka stretches, his things set to the side, and the egg nested atop his folded clothes.

It gives a violent shake.] Hmnnnn...it has been doing this far more often as of late...I, the man Gongenzaka, should wonder if it will hatch while we are in the city...

[A proper bed and shower is a luxury Yuya will never take for granted again. And here he thought the hurdle through other dimensions was bad.

He scoots closer to the egg as it shakes, watching is curiously. His yamper is currently wrestling with his pillow.] Did he say how long it would take to hatch?

[ Yep, learning to appreciate proper beds and a shower is something you learn early on here. Yuzu managed to get them two rooms, one for the boys and one for herself, and conveniently right next to each other.

She definitely appreciated the traditional style... and she was sure Gon would appreciate it as well. Once she's had a shower and donned the Hotel Yukata provided for them, she'll use the key to head inside and check on them. ]

You two alright in here?

[ Her hair is down and still a little damp. Listen, showers were already a priority for her, but being in this world bumped it way up. Sure, she has a portable one and everything (seriously, how does her bag hold all of it??), but nothing beats proper showers where you don't need a Pokemon guarding the tent.

Upon entering, though, she notices the egg shaking. It'd already been acting up while they were traveling, but... ]

Oh, that definitely looks close to hatching. [ She'll walk on over. She's taken care of her fair share of eggs before, so she at least has some experience to work with here. ]

[betheman]

Mmmmn. He did not; he stated that it would be a surprising incident upon the moment it hatched, but that was all....

[Gongenzaka looks up, watching as Yuzu comes in.] Hm- you have seen eggs hatch before then, Yuzu?

[The egg shakes again.]

Gongenzaka's egg is getting agitated, but we're okay. [Clean, and not sleeping on the ground.]

A surprise? [Yuya looks up at Gon incredulously. Okay, he's no baby expert, but shouldn't they know of at least an average hatch time?]

[songstressedout]

Mm, of course. I taken care of a few eggs before. Soprano is one of them.

[ She kneels down in front of the egg, seeing it shake again. ]

Yep, looks like they're ready to hatch, and soon too.

[ She remembers her own eggs shaking like that when they were close to hatching. Actually, now that she thinks about it... ]

Oh, um... yeah, egg hatching in this world is uh... a little different.

[ Very glowy. ]

Ecruteak - Kimono Girls

[Now that they aren't scrambling to find each other, and Yuzu has a gym to conquer, they can afford more than a day staying within Ecruteak. And that means, they're plenty of opportunity to sight see.

The theater seems to be the biggest pull of your not there for the gym challenge, so after a few days that's where they head out.

Yuya grabs a pamphlet of classes and events offered, but his actual attention is on the kimono girls on the stage.] Did we come in time for a show?

I hope so, I've heard a lot about the Kimono Girls here in Ecruteak, so I'd like to see them at least once.

[ She even has Aria out for the occasion... though she's almost always out, but still, apparently the Kimono Girls all have an Eeveelution with them. She wore a kimono back at the traditional-style inn they were staying at since it was there, but the kimonos worn by the Kimono Girls in the pictures were much fancier.

Actually, considering how she was so recently joined by Gongenzaka, this was right up in his interests, wasn't it? Ecruteak was a good choice as their next destination. ]

That they are called 'kimono girls'... [Gongenzaka, perhaps, is the most confused here despite his interest.] It is odd to hear, with how many things the word 'kimono' can refer to. [There's a lot of types of kimono!!!

anyway] Still, it seems we are just in time; they seem to be performing...

WAIT-] MNH- This is...this is kabuki..!

[THEY KEPT KABUKI FOR ALL HERE??]

[Yuya shrugs! He didn't give them that name.

He holds the pamphlet out to Gon.] They have a lot of traditional arts here. Some of them are classes you can take.

[Even dance classes, which fill up fast. Almost as fast asthe shows. Which, now that he's squinting at the seats...] We might have to stand.

[songstressedout]

[ Yuzu shrugs as well... maybe it's just something that caught on over time? In any case, she doesn't know either. ]

Classes? Hm...

[ She can't say she isn't intrigued by the idea... besides, she doesn't mind spending extra time here. As for standing... well, when you've walked as many places as Yuzu, standing becomes so much less of an issue. ]

Mm, well nothing wrong with that.

[ She'll give Aria a little scritch under the neck, earning a coo from the Eeveelution on her shoulder. ]

Standing will be fine, [Gongenzaka insists calmly, looking over the pamphlet.]

Classes however... [Huhhh...] I, the man Gongenzaka, should wonder how easily they can take surprise students...
