[When the Pokegear feed turns on, there's a Pumpkaboo in the middle of trying to bite the screen. When nothing seems to happen, the Pumpkaboo gives up and bounces towards a prone figure laying sprawled out across a wood floor - it looks like they might be in some kind of house? Napstablook's hands remain folded over their chest.]

ohhhh.... ohhhh....

[Napstablook makes a noise that sounds like they could be in pain, or have fallen somehow. But they don't look like they've been hurt at all. The Pumpkaboo bounces behind their head, nibbling at their hair in an attempt to get them to move. Finally, the Pumpkaboo gets a response from Napstablook that doesn't just sound like distressed moans.]

oh..... am i in the way? i'm sorry.... i think this is all too much for me right now... i can lay down and feel like garbage somewhere else is if it's a problem... it's fine...

[The Pumpkaboo huffs angrily. Napstablook looks like they really want to continue laying on the floor.

The adventure... begins?]

[... Wait, that voice wasn't the woman who was talking to them earlier. Napstablook just kind of rolls over in the direction of whoever's talking to them. They see a new face lit up on the Pokegear and it startles them a little.

They pick up the Pokegear to hold it closer. The image shows a person in their mid-20s, with very plain-looking physical features. There's dark circles under their eyes and strikingly white hair falling into their eyes.]

ah... hello? i didn't know this was recording...

It must be strange to deal with, but I don't think it affected him negatively. You should probably take it easy until you've gotten used to it.

Napstablook does move towards the source of the voice, turning themselves so they can look at Asriel on the Pokegear. They've already talked to their cousin, but Napstablook is painfully unaware of just how many other monsters are here too.]

i know hide-and-seek but i'm usually less corporeal for that....

[The Pumpkaboo makes a little angry huffing noise before shaking itself. She doesn't want to play, she just wants her trainer to stop laying in a sad heap on the floor.]
