Like every year, the Goldenrod Christmas Market is opened on December 1st by a Santa (not the Santa, but certainly a Santa) with a merry Ho-Ho-Ho and a jolly tinkle of sleigh bells. And like every year, the stalls are stacked to the brim, overflowing with everything you might wish to buy this Christmas season. Every few stalls, the items make way for hot food and drink -- waffles, hot chocolate, cider, you name it and you can most certainly find it.

New this year, however, is that the stalls are not just manned by people native to this world. For the first year ever, Otherworlders have also had the option of setting up a stall, whether for the entire month or just for a few days. So if you have a special skill, a knack for crafting, or simply a lust for poke-bucks, why not come join the festivities and maybe make a little extra money?

Louie gives a little chuckle, then his smile shifts to sly as he shrugs.

"It's okay, but if you really feel badly, you can always buy a cup of cocoa. Here, I'll even through in a spoonful of peanut butter for the bird."

As Ignatius hops up onto Fluttershy's arm, she pauses to consider his offer. "Oh...actually, some hot cocoa does sound nice right now," she says after a moment. "What do you think, Ignatius?"

The bird gives a little cry as he flaps his wings enthusiastically, because yes he absolutely wants some of that peanut butter.

With a giggle, Fluttershy nods as she gently tweaks the bow tie around his neck. "Okay, okay, I get it, you're hungry. But not too much, or you'll spoil your dinner." She turns back to Louie. "All right. One cup of cocoa, please. And just a little bit of peanut butter for Ignatius."

Louie chuckles softly at the Pokemon's antics. He doesn't know this trainer, but she sure seems to have a good bond with, at least, this member of her team. Before preparing the hot chocolate, he scoops out a spoonful of peanut butter and offers it to Ignatius, while addressing Fluttershy.

"I'm Louie, by the way. Nice to meet you."

She takes the spoon to hold for Ignatius, who quickly begins to eat it up.

"It's nice to meet you too, Louie. I'm Fluttershy."

Her eyes can't help glancing over at his Rapidash, and she lights up a little. "Oh wow...how lovely!"

Louie follows her gaze and grins. "Oh! Thanks. Yeah, Lexington's great! She lets me ride on her back now that she's big enough."

"She's beautiful!" The fire that made up the horse-like Pokemon's mane looked a little dangerous, but pretty and powerful at the same time. "May I pet her?"

The question is mostly directly at Louie, although she also keeps an eye on Lexington to see how the Pokemon would feel about it.

Louie looks at Lexington as well, to gauge her feelings on the subject. The horse-like Pokemon does lift her head in interest while still appearing relaxed, so...

"Yeah, go for it."

With a bright smile, Fluttershy makes her way around the table and over to Lexington. "Hello there," she says, gently stroking the side of the Rapidash's neck and being careful of the fiery mane. "It's very nice to meet you too, Lexington."
