Goldenrod City Christmas Market
Who: Everyone
Where: Goldenrod Christmas Market
When: December 1st - December 31st
Summary: Ah, Christmas time! A time of joy, family and... commerce?
Like every year, the Goldenrod Christmas Market is opened on December 1st by a Santa (not the Santa, but certainly a Santa) with a merry Ho-Ho-Ho and a jolly tinkle of sleigh bells. And like every year, the stalls are stacked to the brim, overflowing with everything you might wish to buy this Christmas season. Every few stalls, the items make way for hot food and drink -- waffles, hot chocolate, cider, you name it and you can most certainly find it.
New this year, however, is that the stalls are not just manned by people native to this world. For the first year ever, Otherworlders have also had the option of setting up a stall, whether for the entire month or just for a few days. So if you have a special skill, a knack for crafting, or simply a lust for poke-bucks, why not come join the festivities and maybe make a little extra money?

How about... One of each? I'm only keeping one egg for myself, so I'll use the bag for that, and then the other one will go with the egg I'm giving to my Secret Star King!

That works! [ Reaching under the table (and being careful of the Pachirisus down there), she pulls out a few more selections of each cozy. ] Go ahead and choose which ones you'd like.

[ Patches, for her part, picks out a bright yellow scarf for herself. ]

[ It is very good that Fluttershy doesn't own a store normally, she would never really turn a profit. ]

[ She comes from somewhere that hasn't invented factory-made items, but she still appreciates the value in handmade goods. ]

[ She hands over the 3500P, but she fully intends to have Patches slip another 500P into one of Fluttershy's bags before the day is over. ]
How'd your sales go? Were a lot of people buying your knitted creations?

Oh yes. I've had a several people stop by and get something. The egg cosies are the most popular, but I've also had quite a few people buying accessories.
[ Fluttershy is really glad to know that she isn't the only person who enjoys dressing up her animal friends. ]

[ Patches is happily snuggled in her new scarf, as she tries to surreptitiously sneak the 500P bill somewhere that Fluttershy and Static won't see it. ]

Thank you! I've been knitting for a few years. It's very meditative, and helps calm me down when I'm nervous. [ Which is often. ]

That sounds great! My dad used to do the same thing, but with baking. Any time he was stressed, he'd go to the kitchen and start making scones.

Oh, a friend I have back home does that too! [ Then again, Pinkie Pie just kind of...bakes for everything. ] Did they taste good?

[ Life is hard for the Lich King. ]
no subject
[ And tasty too. ]

It can be hard, when you're leading an army of the undead.

The...undead?
[ She remembers Rainer mentioning something about dancing skeletons before, but "undead" sounded more like zombies, which is something entirely different. ]
