Like every year, the Goldenrod Christmas Market is opened on December 1st by a Santa (not the Santa, but certainly a Santa) with a merry Ho-Ho-Ho and a jolly tinkle of sleigh bells. And like every year, the stalls are stacked to the brim, overflowing with everything you might wish to buy this Christmas season. Every few stalls, the items make way for hot food and drink -- waffles, hot chocolate, cider, you name it and you can most certainly find it.

New this year, however, is that the stalls are not just manned by people native to this world. For the first year ever, Otherworlders have also had the option of setting up a stall, whether for the entire month or just for a few days. So if you have a special skill, a knack for crafting, or simply a lust for poke-bucks, why not come join the festivities and maybe make a little extra money?

Louie shrugs, but even with the loss of doubling his profit, he's smiling. "Alright, just one then. Did you want extra flavor or anything?"

"What have you got? Anything exotic?"

Anything particularly American is bound to be unusual enough for Doppio, really. Italy has very different tastes.

Doppio being from Italy has come up before, and while Louie isn't particularly familiar with Italian cuisine - beyond pizza being his favorite food - he figures going for a flavor profile that's from somewhere else in the world is maybe a safe bet.

"I can put in some cinnamon, and I think--" He glances between what he's brought. "Yeah, I did pick up some chili powder too. How's that sound?"

One can only hope that, one day, Louie will taste a genuine Italian pizza.

"Chili powder? That sounds exotic, alright!... Does it really go with cocoa, though?"

Hopefully he will! Surely there's treasure to find and/or mysteries to solve in the Italy of his world.

"Yeah, it works, as long as you don't put in too much. Come on, Doppio, trust me."

"Well... Okay!" Maybe he can just add milk to balance it out if it turns out too spicy? "You're the pro here, so I'll give it a shot."

... Granted, he's not sure if the ten-to-twelve-year-old is an actual professional, but Doppio feels like he would have heard something by now if there was a kid selling hazardous drinks in the market.
