Goldenrod City Christmas Market
Who: Everyone
Where: Goldenrod Christmas Market
When: December 1st - December 31st
Summary: Ah, Christmas time! A time of joy, family and... commerce?
Like every year, the Goldenrod Christmas Market is opened on December 1st by a Santa (not the Santa, but certainly a Santa) with a merry Ho-Ho-Ho and a jolly tinkle of sleigh bells. And like every year, the stalls are stacked to the brim, overflowing with everything you might wish to buy this Christmas season. Every few stalls, the items make way for hot food and drink -- waffles, hot chocolate, cider, you name it and you can most certainly find it.
New this year, however, is that the stalls are not just manned by people native to this world. For the first year ever, Otherworlders have also had the option of setting up a stall, whether for the entire month or just for a few days. So if you have a special skill, a knack for crafting, or simply a lust for poke-bucks, why not come join the festivities and maybe make a little extra money?

[Kind of makes sense, actually, considering that the two regions share names with regions back home in Japan, too, and even some of the structures in various towns and cities are the same. Hell, even the houses in Cianwood mimic traditional, Asian-style homes.]
That's perfect. [She's already reaching into her bag for her SLICK NEW EEVEE/EEVEELUTION WALLET YEEHAW.] Ne, Fluttershy-chan, if anyone gives you a hard time about pricing, let me know, okay? I'll talk to them.
[Why does that...sound vaguely threatening? >__>a]

[ She can't help admiring Ochako's wallet - so cute! - that she doesn't quite catch the threat in the other girl's tone. ]
Hmm? Oh, uh...okay. Thank you, Ochako-chan.

Mm!! I got pretty lucky in that regard!! I'm actually pretty good with money, and math, too, I guess...so converting the price isn't too difficult for me, but I need to know the value first, you know? Actually, a lot of the names and things in this world are the same as in mine...which would be more weird if I hadn't met others that come from different variations of Japan.
[the whole "multi-verse" kind of thing is just...well. It's still weird, and hard to parse, but Ochako's sort of gotten used to it? It just comes with time, probably.]
Ne, don't worry about it. No one should undercharge you for your work - that's unfair.

[ She isn't upset about that fact either, and says it just as a fact. She likes knitting and sewing, but Rarity definitely had a better head for fashion and pricing items. ]

Uwaah...that's so cool!! So she's a seamstress then? That's quite the talent!! Eh, one of my friends, Momo-chan, could make things, too, but...in a much different kind of way, ehehe...
[She could literally create practically anything she knew the makeup for out of the fat cells in her body. Momo's quirk was incredibly useful that way...since she'd just create a lot of items or tools they'd need on missions. Or, erm...heavy artillery canons. :'Da]

[ As they continue their conversation, Fluttershy takes a moment to retrieve a tape measure, and Ignatius flutters his wings before lifting to the air and taking one end of the measure. ] How does your friend make things? And oh - sorry, is it okay if we take a quick measurement? I wouldn't want to accidentally make the scarf too small.

Eh, well...it's a bit complicated to explain, but...in my world, nearly everyone has a very particular, um...s-superpower, I guess - though we call them quirks - and Momo-chan's is called Creation. She can literally make anything she knows the physical makeup of from the fat cells stored in her body. It could be clothes, medicine, even certain electronics and, um...o-other things.
[CANONS. LITERAL FUCKING CANONS.]
I'm not sure there isn't a thing Momo-chan can make that's not, y'know...organic.

Then Ignatius unwraps the measure and drops the end into Fluttershy's hand, so she can start taking Ochako's measurements for the mittens. ]
Oh wow, that's amazing! She must be incredibly smart then, if she has all makeup of everything like that memorized to create them from her body.
