Goldenrod City Christmas Market
Who: Everyone
Where: Goldenrod Christmas Market
When: December 1st - December 31st
Summary: Ah, Christmas time! A time of joy, family and... commerce?
Like every year, the Goldenrod Christmas Market is opened on December 1st by a Santa (not the Santa, but certainly a Santa) with a merry Ho-Ho-Ho and a jolly tinkle of sleigh bells. And like every year, the stalls are stacked to the brim, overflowing with everything you might wish to buy this Christmas season. Every few stalls, the items make way for hot food and drink -- waffles, hot chocolate, cider, you name it and you can most certainly find it.
New this year, however, is that the stalls are not just manned by people native to this world. For the first year ever, Otherworlders have also had the option of setting up a stall, whether for the entire month or just for a few days. So if you have a special skill, a knack for crafting, or simply a lust for poke-bucks, why not come join the festivities and maybe make a little extra money?

[A soft chuckle.] Most definitely not.
[Considering her planet last existed at least 8,000 years BC, and countless light-years away.]
Still, I've been enjoying the human holidays so far, and this is the first gift-giving holiday I've been able to celebrate with my friends.

Yes and no. [Apparently context is needed... she gestures Jane to follow her somewhere a bit more private than the front of the store, maybe a nice bench, trying not to let her expression fall too far.] Earth has holidays, of course, but... me and the humans I know are currently quite a long way from Earth... and fighting a war. And in Altea's case... there hasn't been an Altea in ten thousand years.
[So... being able to celebrate hasn't been a luxury they could afford until now.]

[Did she take a misstep here,]

No no... I wouldn't have answered if I didn't wish to. Apologies, I didn't mean to make things awkward.
[These poor anxious heiresses.]

[Try to make conversation, accidentally trip into sensitive topic.]

As are you, really. So, is there anything in particular you're shopping for?
[SUBJECT CHANGE TIME!]

[A soft nod.] That will be nice. What would you plan to sell?

[Man, how awesome would it be to bake on location though? Expensive, but awesome.]

That would be nice. This world does have Fire Pokémon. Combined with a portable or easy-to-assemble oven, it might be more convenient than you think to bake a cake outdoors.
[As long as its not like a soufflé or something.]
