Set 1 - Video
[The hell? How'd he end up here when he'd fallen asleep after texting Iwaizumi something stupid and getting called loserkawa again and told to go back to bed. Tooru is all levels of confused when the woman he knows isn't his mother is shooing him off out of the house that definitely isn't his.
After the confusing things are out of the way and he's told how the 'gear works, he immediately takes to whatever social media outlet would handle his whining. Not the maturest of things to do, but he's determined to get Iwaizumi's attention somehow if he's out there and there's no better way to get it than being a pest to him.]
Iwa-chan are you out there at all? This is one hell of a dream and it looks like it's one of the things that some of the Seijoh kids play.
[The camera points down to the Shinx next to him, looking a bit grouchy.]
Maybe I could just call you Iwa-chan, you look grumpy like him!
[The Shinx lets out a noise only described as a grumble, which only makes Tooru laugh and think the name even more perfect. He's going to keep the name, which he was joking about before to get the real Iwaizumi to come yelling at him for it, but now it's just too fitting. The camera points back to Tooru, whose cheeks are puffed out in a small pout.]
But if anyone's seen Iwa-chan-- Iwaizumi, let him know his best friend, Oikawa, is looking for him.

Okay, definitely not the same person.]
My explanation is that my name is Todoroki Shoto, that my scar is real, I've had it since I was very young and was born with my hair this way.
[The tiny bird pokemon on his back doesn't like the sounds of this kind of conversation and Shoto takes her into his arms instead to tell her that it's fine.]
I'm sorry, but I think I'm not the person you think I am.
[With a very glare-glancing bird, Shoto tucks her into his chest to hold her with one arm while he takes out his trainer card to prove that his name is as it is, picture is as it is and the pertinent information.]
Here, please.

Now he feels just a bit like an asshole for being a brat, but also relieved that he's not, in fact, getting help from his dreaded rival he's determined to defeat as a setter.]
.... Oh-- you're not Tobio-chan. I, uh, sorry about that. He's just some brat back home that pisses me off.
[He gives a very awkward smile to the little bird, and then takes a long look at the trainer ID. Yeah that's not Kageyama after all. Iwaizumi is right, he's a dumbass after all.]
Ahem.. I'd still appreciate the help, if it's not too much.
[Time to lay on the niceness in return to smooth everything over and forget about this utterly embarrassing moment.]

A brat that he calls an honorific? Midoriya comes to mind. Shoto also recognizes that the poor guy feels pretty bad about the mixup. It's not a stretch since he very obviously turned on the kindness full blast.]
I came to help, I won't deny you the help for a mistake.
[Or for any reason, heroes don't do that. If someone needs help it doesn't matter if they're an asshole or not. There's an easy way to fix this. He's seen it in movies and manga.]
What if we just started over? We can pretend.

Y-yeah, thanks.
[A nod at the suggestion.]
Oikawa Tooru, captain of the Aoba Johsai boys volleyball team in Miyagi Prefecture. Let's just forget about all of that.

That is one hell of an impressive title and if someone's introducing themselves with that kind of title, it means they're proud of it. So he keeps that close on hand and in his mind.]
It's nice to meet you, Oikawa. You can call me Shoto. This is Miu.
[Miu who gives a little flap and Shoto helps her back to her backpack nest now that she's sure things are fine. The backpack, though, is settled down carefully so that he can rifle through it much to Miu's annoyance even if she's set in like the yolk of a sunnyside egg.]
I've brought you some things to help get you started. I also brought some things for your pokemon if you'll take them.
Oozes back late, dw ate this one
[He is pretty prideful, and having been captain of that team was something he was extremely proud of, as well as playing with his friends on it for the past three years. So many memories to be proud of.
But before he can be lost in the memories, Tooru nods, and is shocked at the extra kindness as well. This definitely wasn't the brat he felt threatened by back home, not with this amount of niceness.]
Extra items? Ah-- sure, I will, if you went out of your way to get them, I won't say no!
