[The hell? How'd he end up here when he'd fallen asleep after texting Iwaizumi something stupid and getting called loserkawa again and told to go back to bed. Tooru is all levels of confused when the woman he knows isn't his mother is shooing him off out of the house that definitely isn't his.

After the confusing things are out of the way and he's told how the 'gear works, he immediately takes to whatever social media outlet would handle his whining. Not the maturest of things to do, but he's determined to get Iwaizumi's attention somehow if he's out there and there's no better way to get it than being a pest to him.]

Iwa-chan are you out there at all? This is one hell of a dream and it looks like it's one of the things that some of the Seijoh kids play.

[The camera points down to the Shinx next to him, looking a bit grouchy.]

Maybe I could just call you Iwa-chan, you look grumpy like him!

[The Shinx lets out a noise only described as a grumble, which only makes Tooru laugh and think the name even more perfect. He's going to keep the name, which he was joking about before to get the real Iwaizumi to come yelling at him for it, but now it's just too fitting. The camera points back to Tooru, whose cheeks are puffed out in a small pout.]

But if anyone's seen Iwa-chan-- Iwaizumi, let him know his best friend, Oikawa, is looking for him.

It's okay if you haven't heard his name before, neither of us are well known outside of our prefecture. But I won't say no to any help, since I just got here and don't even know where here is other than some place called New Bark Town.

[Which is, from his understanding since no one seems to have heard of it in the town, a long ways away from Sendai.]

I understand your situation. I was in the same one. A woman calling herself your mother, who is certainly not your mother, sets you out of the house with a bag and a creature called a pokemon as though it's the most normal thing in the world. There is an elderly lady around there that breeds Skitty in the right season, if you see her please say hello for me. She's very pleasant.

I'm down that way tracking down a potential pokemon if you're too lost, it won't take me too long to sidetrack.

I would sooner name this a nightmare than a dream.

[The voice that speaks through the device is somewhat light and a touch nasally, the accent is most certainly what one might describe as British as well. The man on the screen is certainly older than the team captain he's addressing, a streak of white in his forelock, the rest of it a darker brown. His gold colored eyes staring boredly at his conversational partner, though the slight smile might betray the look in his eyes.]

But then again, I suppose that is all a matter of perspective. You are rather calm considering you've just awoke in an unfamiliar world. Do you oft travel to distant worlds in your dreams, accompanied by this Iwa-chan of yours? Or is this your usual approach to aught out of the ordinary?

[Tooru just blinks at the older man for half a minute, arching a brow at the odd way he speaks and the formality of it as well. Though he does know bored expressions when he sees them, having his own ways of masking his boredom while pretending to be entertained for the sake of others.]

If I could go to other worlds with Iwa-chan in my dreams, I would, that sounds like it would be fun. This place just looks similar to the games my nephew and his friends, along with some of my classmates play, but I don't remember what those games are called.

[And then he shrugs, might as well make the best of some weird dream, right? He'd end up telling his friends about it later when he wakes up. If it's real, he just got himself isekai'd.]

It's better than freaking out and scaring everyone else around you and looking dumb.

[Truly he much rather talk to someone who is calm and collected, than those that might panic at this weird situation they've all found themselves in.]

I must say 'tis interesting that you would liken this world to those games, if only because such similarities do not end. If you are keen enough to take note of such, then your adjustment will prove to be a rather smooth one, compared to some few others who seem fit to deny such oddities and what they imply.

[Hearing the name Hinata's called him by catches Tooru off guard enough that he stares back in shock at the blonde girl he vaguely remembers around Karasuno's team. Right. She's the other manager besides Kiyoko, the small and cute one.

At least someone else from home is there, so there's hope!]

Y-yes? That's me, the great Oikawa! Yachi-chan, was it?

Ah— Yes! H-hi! [ her name was remembered! amazing! ] Welcome, I mean! I know this is really a handful to take in all at once!

Naming a Pokémon after a friend is usually a lovely gesture, but you may first want to be certain neither friend nor Pokémon will be insulted by the comparison.

[Cecil gets the strong feeling that little Shinx's name is now set in stone, but he can at least try.]

I cannot recall anyone by that name, I'm afraid. Still, if he's present in this world, he'll surely respond to your message.

If he was here I don't think he'd mind! He'd just call me an idiot and leave it at that.

[The Shinx on the other hand seems like it's about to nip at him, but doesn't actually bite and licks its paw boredly.

Tooru nods with a smile regardless.]

I'll keep it in mind though if I name any others after friends!

I'll have to keep trying then, sometimes he ignores me calling for him.

Is that all? That hardly counts as a complaint or an objection, really. Even your Shinx is making more of an effort.

I've a feeling he'd not ignore you, this time. After all, our current situation is far from ordinary, unless you both have some experience with other worlds. People tend to be particularly glad to see new arrivals from home.

[Izuku is absolutely no stranger to finding Pokemon that remind him of certain people from home...nor is he a stranger to naming them after said people. He can't help but smile, even if his expression is a little sad, since as far as he knows his friend has a slim chance of actually being here...]

I don't know an Iwa-chan, but I'll keep an eye out for him for you. Though I dunno if how he'd react being called "grumpy" if he sees this video...

Yes, his name is Iwaizumi, but I call him Iwa-chan since I grew up with him. I wouldn't call him that if you see him, he'll just yell at you not to. But thank you! Are you new too?

[Hello, yes, there is a young lady that's appearing on the Gear's camera, with a bob-cut and two cute, round, very pink cheeks. Sleeping sounding in the hood of her, well...hoodie, is a Pichu, though it's a bit darker in color than normal Pichu...hm.]

If you can describe him, I'd definitely try to keep a lookout, but just putting up a call like this through the Gear should locate him in no time. Ne, did you just arrive, I'm assuming?

[oh now that little yellow critter is adorable, especially in a hood. But Tooru nods. He can definitely describe his best friend, even if he's going to tease the other boy while doing so.

Sure thing! He's got dark hair and green eyes, and is always frowning or scowling. Or yelling at someone for something dumb, calling them a dumbass on occasion.

[He elects to leave out the yelling is typically towards him for his own ridiculous antics.]
