[The feed opens up on Asriel's face - hey, wasn't this the kid who freaked out when his Natu made a post on here by accident? - and he looks absolutely enthused by something. Judging by the stacks of electronic merchandise and the Rotom that twirls in the air behind him, he's in the Goldenrod Department Store. The Floette who sits in his hair, as opposed to the Flabebe he may have been seen with before, waves before looking back up at whatever is in front of them.]

Howdy! [He's whispering, and holds a finger up to his mouth.] This place is really big, I never knew a store could be so big! And look!

[The 'gear is spun around to show one of a wall of televisions showing the opening number of "Beautifly and the Legendary Beast" in glorious animated HD.]

They're showin' movies...um, well, they're showin' this one. Do they show different ones here too? Or, um, do I gotta go somewhere else to see 'em?

[If you happen to be anywhere in the Goldenrod Department Store today, chances are you're going to run into Asriel. He is exploring literally every floor, room, and section that he's allowed in, from Pokemon medicines to toys to the rooftop vending machines - and it's very likely that he'll ask you about whatever it is you're looking to purchase. He's also quite easily misled and pulled into any kind of shenanigans going on, so have at it!]

[Draculaura spends most of her time shopping, so it's no surprise to see her there. She has her Zorua with her, so it can change into her, so she can see how clothes will look on her before she buys them. Currently she's stuck between two dresses.]

[Asriel pauses as he's passing by, very curious about the two girls who look exactly the same. He tilts his head.]

Why not get both so you both have a dress?

[She blinks, surprised, but when she turns around she's all smiles.]

[Zorua!Dracualura just shrugs - but then decides to have some fun. "She" bares her fangs, making spooky faces at Asriel when 'laura isn't looking.]

[Oh hey! He remembers you. It's good to see that this little guy seems to be doing well for himself, all the way in Goldenrod and everything. The comment about the televisions makes Kaneki smile a little as he makes his video response.]

Department stores show movies that are being sold in the store on TVs that they're also selling. Usually to show off how the TV works more than anything. You'll probably see a new one playing every few days or so.

There are always movie theaters you could go to if you wanted to watch something without having to stand around in the store. But they aren't always playing the same thing, either.

That makes sense. I guess they really wanna sell a lot of TVs and movies. But, the movie theaters...I'd like to see different movies. Where would I find them?

They're all over Kanto and Johto, though you'll probably more likely find them in big cities like Goldenrod or Celadon. I don't actually go out to see movies so much or else I'd be able to tell you more.

[Frisk has been zooming around the store as well, though for them it's with a lot more purpose. They don't have money right now, but they will soon, and they want to be able to get the perfect gift for Asriel before they leave the city. Which means a lot of looking around, and carefully considering all the toys and other goodies. They're a little surprised to see Asriel camped out in the electronics section, but when they see what's grabbed his attention they can't help but giggle.]

Most rented homes come with a television, if you also want to settle down for some time. Though renting a house of your own is not a decision to make lightly, at your age.

Also, should you someday visit Kanto, merely watching movies is not your only option.

That it is, especially since you'll not be allowed to work full-time until you turn twenty. That greatly limits your spending money.

[It's completely unfair and arbitrary, too, but let's not get into that.]

You can be part of them! Rarely in important roles, of course, but they sometimes need background crowds for certain scenes. The studios in Fuchsia seek out new employees, sometimes.

[At least this time, they came here together. No sudden family surprises here!

...granted, Asgore is definitely shadowing Asriel around the store and not even attempting to be subtle about it. A long time ago, he would not have been quite this protective; he and Toriel used to let Asriel and Chara run around and play as they pleased, for the most part. The Underground was safe. To be fair, this place does not seem very dangerous either, and it is hardly as if Asriel is alone. This probably is not necessary.

And yet here he is, not keeping as close as he could, but never quite letting Asriel out of his sight. He's making a token effort to watch over Frisk as well, but given the choice he'll keep an eye on Asriel first. Frisk has proven more than capable. More to the point, he hasn't lost them before.

He's still got his Pokemon with him, of course, so on occasion he does turn his attention to them. Splash is particularly interested in the battle items, and he lifts her up so that she can see them without knocking the entire display to the ground.]

Oh, I see. It makes your Attack stronger? [That really isn't the way it works for monsters, but it's doubtless safer not to be like monsters in that regard.]

[Good, Asriel has had enough sudden family surprises for a long time. And besides, being shadowed is not surprising to him at all. Things were...okay, somewhat, between himself and his Dad - there's a lot that's yet to be said, that neither of them are attempting to bring up even as it sits between them whenever they're together, but Frisk is the best friend and/or child anyone could ask for, and Pokemon friends are ample distractions. Asriel will not rush his father into backing off or broaching uncomfortable topics. This is tough enough to start with.

Plus, although it's weird to have that parental guidance nearby again, it's...a little comforting, a little nice. If it helps Asgore, he doesn't mind it, and he doesn't completely ignore his Dad, either. Why, even now, seeing him with Splash in the aisle looking at the power-up medicines, he comes to stand nearby, pretending to look at a bottle of Calcium on a lower shelf, idly wondering if this is something Gracie might need...

...Aaaand he's quick to back off once he sees the price.] Ah - that's...a lot of money...

Walter was casually browsing today. It was less busy than when he had tried to look for some clothes and the cooling weather meant that his coat didn't seem so strange anymore. He did his best to stay out of people's way, looking over both the specialist Pokemon based items and the more mundane.

Currently he was looking over a sewing kit. Despite having access to a decent amount of money, Walter still felt like he might have to mend his clothes in the future. Even if he didn't, sewing had been realxing; the steady flow of thread and needle was almost calming and the occasional pinprick was probably the slightest hurt he ever felt at the Wish House.

He was so absorbed in his thoughts and memories, debating over which kit had what he needed, he wouldn't notice anyone watching or approaching him.
