Everybody, you need to watch this!
[Greg's voice sounds probably sounds unreasonably excited as he films Duck--the Kricketune he inherited from his son, Steven--striding out into the center of Greg and Rose's bed inside their traveling caravan, a miniature guitar strapped to his chest and star-shaped sunglasses on his face. He carries a tiny prop microphone.
And then Duck begins to sing.
It's a fairly familiar song from specific world and relative time period, one about blessing the rains down in Africa, and the little pokemon is thoroughly rocking out, the delelelele building up to a resounding WHOOP.
After the performance, you can hear Greg laughing, before he turns the camera around so it faces him.] Great, isn't it? He's already learned how to do a Christmas song by Mawile Carey! Does anyone have any requests for what he should try next?

[Rose is obviously on board with the idea. Oh it would be so fun!
This is, she reflects, a very nice life for them. Not just because they get to be together, and be human together, but she just thinks this is good for Greg. Wandering where they please, nothing tying them down, no pressures weighing on them. But it's not a life without meaning, or without direction.
And it's good.]
I think that's a wonderful idea. And it's going to get warm soon, we can perform in the towns.
