Everybody, you need to watch this!

[Greg's voice sounds probably sounds unreasonably excited as he films Duck--the Kricketune he inherited from his son, Steven--striding out into the center of Greg and Rose's bed inside their traveling caravan, a miniature guitar strapped to his chest and star-shaped sunglasses on his face. He carries a tiny prop microphone.

And then Duck begins to sing.

It's a fairly familiar song from specific world and relative time period, one about blessing the rains down in Africa, and the little pokemon is thoroughly rocking out, the delelelele building up to a resounding WHOOP.

After the performance, you can hear Greg laughing, before he turns the camera around so it faces him.] Great, isn't it? He's already learned how to do a Christmas song by Mawile Carey! Does anyone have any requests for what he should try next?

Ah, cool... [His mind is already filled with thoughts of his very own Kricketune singing the most wonderful songs...]

Pokemon really are full of super interesting abilities besides fighting, hm? I mean I want my team to be strong but if they can do other cool stuff as well that would be awesome. [He's getting a little sidetracked, but he can't help it.]

Do you remember where you got your Kricketune? I mean, since I'm trying to find one for myself. Or at least Kricketot.

[Greg's voice gets a lot more subdued at this point.]

Oh, uh, I actually inherited him. From my son. When, uh, he went back home...

O-Oh... [It's kinda hard for Haga to be sympathetic when it comes to other people's feelings, but if this guy is anything like his parents... Yeah, it's hard not to feel a little sorry for him.]

He's been gone for a while I'm guessing? Since you said you've been training Kricketune to sing for a couple weeks now?

It'll be two years soon.

[It's hard to believe it's been that long.]

... but, I mean, he's got people looking after him. So he should probably be okay.

You've been here for that long? I didn't know people could stay here for years. [But then again, how could anyone accomplish anything in this place if they didn't spend a good deal of time here?]

I've been here for barely a month and it already feels like such a long time.

Oh yeah—and there's lots of people who've been here longer than me! My wife was here two years before I got here.
