Summary: Hawks and two green boys help tackle the bird problem

[Louie isn't the sort to rush into danger, and these crazed Braviary causing all the trouble are clearly dangerous. Normally, the teen wouldn't even be outdoors with those beasts around... Except, you know. That cash reward. It's nothing to sneeze at, and if there's one thing that can get Louie to steel himself and take a risk, it's money.

So, time for a detour in his warp tour back to Azalea Town. He's pleased to have teamed up with Izuku and Hawks for this... He wouldn't say he's close to either of them, though he does like them both well enough. But does that really matter here? What's important is they both strike him as competent, and he's got faith in them not to decide hey wait, it would actually be cool to own the Braviary. After all, if the rampaging Pokemon can't be turned in, there goes their pay. And in addition to a solid team of trainers, Louie's prepared what he feels is a solid team of Pokemon for this undertaking. Shilling will be thrilled to be in battle again, and Ha'penny and Moorshire should be a big help against the flying-type.

Yeah, Louie felt pretty prepared, but there's always something. He should know this! All adventures have their "wait, what?" followed by "Louie almost dies," which seems to be the phase right now: It's hard to start a Pokemon battle when you're not given a window of opportunity to throw a Pokeball, much less attack. That's how it's come to Louie scrambling to get into his pack as he is also running like his life depends on it. Does his life depend on it? He's not sure, but he certainly was. Now he's lost track of the Braviary and also the other two trainers, screaming as he makes a break for cover.]

[See, Louie, bringing heroes along on this outing was definitely a wise choice.

As the furious Braviary bears down on Louie, a dark streak in the sky abruptly cuts across its path, jolting it out of its forward dive with a well-placed - and super effective - Sucker Punch. This turns out to be Karaage the Honchkrow, with Hawks sitting astride her back, and the harsh caw she lets out as she flies past the momentarily stunned Braviary sounds quite self-satisfied.

Even a super effective hit from a very powerful Honchkrow isn't enough by itself to do more than make this giant Braviary very angry, though. Upon reorienting itself to figure out just what hit it - which Hawks seems to be deliberately inviting it to do, with Karaage lazily circling the other bird - it lets out a furious scream and starts making a beeline for Hawks and his pokémon instead. It seems to be closing in on them both, actually bringing its taloned feet forward as if to grab them out of the air, while Hawks and Karaage strangely take no evasive maneuvers...

...before the Honchkrow disappears in a blur of red light, and Hawks simply drops through empty air. Right onto, as it turns out, the back of the hastily called Rotisserie the Talonflame, who arrests Hawks' fall and starts flying almost as if this is some kind of maneuver they've practiced.

(They have. Hawks has spent an inordinate amount of time in the air with his pokémon ever since he had access to the ability to do so. And it had long ago occurred to him that, if only due to his activities within - and against - Team Rocket, he might be in personal danger in this world someday, so it'd be handy to have some tricks up his sleeve if people come after him personally and he doesn't have his quirk to rely on. Flight via his pokémon is the closest he can get. And, admittedly...his life's been so oddly peaceful in this world that taking some daredevil risks in the air training with his team has been refreshing.)

In this case, the change-up is entirely practical; he's not really trying to fight the Braviary here, not right this second. What he wants to do is fly rings around it, and none of his team are better suited to that than Rotisserie. Between a blistering top speed and a surprising amount of maneuverability at slower speeds, Hawks is confident he can keep ahead of it.

He brings his Gear up to his mouth, calling Izuku and using the device almost like a walkie-talkie, yelling over the wind as Rotisserie speeds away from the now even angrier Braviary as it gets over its momentary confusion about where its target went.] Deku! I'll lead it past you two, so get ready for an assault! [Louie has, unexpectedly, set them up for what Hawks thinks may be a good game plan - drawing the bird's attention one way or the other, allowing for surprise attacks by the others while it's preoccupied. They can use their numbers against it. However big it might be, there's still only one of it, and it can't pursue all of them simultaneously.]
