I had a number of my battalion 'evolve' recently. Thankfully I was prepared for the event ahead of time, yet I will admit it was a bit more... flashy than expected. Less grotesque. A bit of magical light and that was all.

I would remind you that evolution is a natural process pokémon undergo and even strive for. There are no foul magics, torture, or mutilation happening to force it so, yes. By your reasoning I suppose it would be "clean".

And a catipiller's transformation is natural as well. But if you open a crysalis too early it is far from clean inside. Nature is rarely so tidy.

From what I have gathered it is not so different than a molting insect. When a Pokemon reaches a certain stength or environment trigger they take on a new stronger form. A much faster and more sudden version of reaching adulthood.

Um - yes. It is rather clean, isn't it? I arrived here just after a war, and this place is as far from that as possible. Even if our creatures fight one another, it's nothing like what I once knew.

I just left the end of a war as well. I suppose that in a world where anyone can have a weapon of terrible power just by walking outside, it is not surprising there is a strange peace. It's that or chaos.

This world is generally clean and peaceful by most standards, so enjoy it while it lasts. It's not nearly as pleasant when it gets messy.

It looks like you haven't dealt with the more extreme evolutions yet. Though I still wouldn't call any of them grotesque, expect maybe poor Parasect.

It doesn't happen too often, but... We've had Legendary Pokémon battle it out and nearly end the world a few times. We've had our deepest thoughts and memories forcibly shared with others. We've had Ghost-types possess people against their will. We've had foreign criminal groups attack Johto and Kanto. We've had the whole place genuinely glitch out and generate impossible Pokémon at us. And so on.

...'Messy' can mean many things, around here.

It won't last, she knows that, but it's nice for now.]

This whole place is pretty clean. Peaceful. I honestly... can't remember the last time I've experienced anything like it. Home is pretty messy and violent.

I can say the same, especially at the time I 'left'. I am not the type for vacations so it has been far from relaxing.

More that such a sanitized world seems... unrealistic. Nature is messy by, well, nature.
