VIDEO - BACKDATE JUNE 25, MORNING
[Emporio didn't really expect to not spend festival night in his shopping-cart-tent- which by all rights shouldn't exist, but apparently did, as evidenced by it being foisted upon him in February earlier that year- but he supposed that for the purposes of whatever it is that he just woke up to, it was probably a good thing. The tent after all, was kind of small- were he a full grown adult and not a kind of scrawny 14 year old, it'd be pretty awkward. As it was, he was pretty sure the only reason the pop-out tent balanced on a grocery cart when unfolded had something to do with weird pokemon technology.
But all of that was hardly the point. Festival night had brought a lot of strange things, after chaining his grocery cart up outside a hotel. He didn't expect to be staying at one thanks to Italian Mob Generosity, and for that matter he didn't expect to be taking advantage of various existing connections to have someone mail him the camping stuff he got from Jonathan, but that's a whole thing in itself.
At least maybe now someone could use the stuff, but that thought is really not on his mind right now.
Because Emporio that morning, upon waking on the hotel cot that was graciously given to him after he insisted repeatedly that he was fine not using the beds and 'really Mister Bucciarati, it's all better than a piano' (he regretted saying this as soon as everyone present winced), was met with something very. Very. Unexpected.
Big, utterly massive, it's fluffy and feathery and that sure is a Drampa, he finds himself thinking somewhat hysterically as he fumbles for his pokegear and tries to turn it on.
The Drampa doesn't move. It's quite content to rest all ten feet of its ridiculous bulk (technically 9'10'', but really at that size who doesn't round up) on top of him the entire time.
...He has...a bad feeling, but just in case-
The camera clicks on, and Emporio sighs from under a pile of fluffy feathers.]
Did....anyone lose their pokemon..?

"How does one go about 'losing' a pokemon? I would have thought it more likely they would simply run off once out of their ball if escape was foremost on their mind."

"That's about how someone ends up losing them, normally...though, most pokemon don't really plan to run away for good, they just get...distracted by stuff? Like a dog that smells meat," he tries for an example, trying to shrug from under the dragon.
"...A really big dog," the boy adds after a pause.

"Yes. This one is most certainly a 'really big dog'."
Do you intend to offer the kid assistance, Keldor, or are you just going to admire the Drampa?
