victory_road | Video (BACKDATED to last weekend-ish)

*The video opens to a nice view of the interior of Sion and Ryner's house. There's the living room, and the dining room table beyond that, and some of the kitchen counter visible beyond the far corner there. But that's probably not the noteworthy part of the image. In fact, it's probably almost an afterthought, really. Why?

Everything is positively covered in eggs.

There's eggs on the couch, eggs on the armchairs. Eggs on the table and visible on the kitchen counters. Small groups and stacks of eggs on any convenient piece of furniture, and quite a few on the floor. There's even one particularly large pile utterly dominating the middle of the living room.

It's a lot of eggs.

Once everyone's gotten a nice, good view of the terrifying eggocalypse, Sion's voice can be heard from offscreen.*

As is perhaps rather evident, Ryner and I seem to have found ourselves with a few extra eggs about. Should anyone be interested, a list of what's available as best as we can determine is attached.

*There's a pause, then he adds:*

And if you happen to be a fan of Magikarp, then don't hesitate to help yourself to as many as you please.

*... so that's what the giant pile is!*

Just how large of a container did that even require?

I've no idea, but I'll be sure to tell you when I find out. I only know that they bought a kilogram each of ten different colors, that the containers are hidden somewhere I've yet to find, and that whoever was supposed to burn the receipt only made a token attempt.

[A beat.]

Never allow your Pokémon to find out about bulk purchasing, if you can avoid it.

This is also quite the argument in favor of not storing your account information and passwords in your Pokégear, no matter how terribly convenient it may be.

But in any case, you're certainly most welcome to any of the eggs if you'd like them. I imagine Ryner would be delighted if you took some of the Magikarp...

Store my... what? Rosie can write and is a regular at every craft store in Celadon, while Coeurl can generate money out of thin air. They'd hardly need my Pokégear to make purchases.

[Maybe, just maybe, he's raised a Clefable that is far too independent.]

I've no doubt they are absolutely delightful fish, but I already have three Gyarados. Should I adopt any, I'll be the one with dozens of eggs next.

Ah, so she's too clever and competent for your good, then?

You mean a few dozen more than you usually have?

It's a helpful trait, more often than not. Far more helpful that additional Magikarp eggs that block my doorway and take up my most comfortable chairs.

Oh, believe me, I'm sure Ryner is having stern words with Rose about encouraging the pond Magikrap into participating.

Though are you quite certain you wouldn't care for anything else?

Not this time, truly. But should I meet someone in need of one of these species, I'll be sure to direct them here.

Well, I imagine it will take us a while to do something about all of them, anyway... Though you still can't go wrong with an Absol.
