Sooo… I have a tiny problem.

Ladrillo here- [she motions to the Lycanroc] -won’t stop stealing stuff. I thought it was just because he was hungry, but he’s been snatching up other things too. And I’m not sure how to get him to stop. I yelled at him a few days ago and I still feel bad but I don’t know what to do!

[She sighs.]

He hasn't acted upset, as far as I can tell. It started happening right after his evolution, so maybe... he's acting out because of that?

It's possible. I have heard of some Pokemon acting differently after they've evolved.

Hmm... that is troubling. [Allura has/had a couple of Pokémon with Pickup, but they mostly find things others have left behind. ... She thinks.] What sort of things is Ladrillo stealing?

Well, it's mostly been food, but he's been picking up trinkets, little Pokemon plushies - I even caught him trying to grab an evolution stone.

He kind of stashes it in the corner. Of course, he doesn't like me when I have to take the stuff back.

Oh dear... Well, I know some of my Pokemon act out more when they want attention. Have things been different between you and him lately?

It started when he evolved. Maybe he's... mad at me because I let him evolve?

"Make it clear there'll be consequences if he continues, then act on them. Sitting out from battles, or if you have more than you can carry at one time, spending more time sitting out from that. And don't act upset or angry, since it could be he's just trying to get you to react.

"But when he behaves, make sure to reward him, so he knows when he's doing the right thing."

Don't mind the fact that all this is said with a large blurry.... thing, that is probably a thumb, along one side of the video feed.

I guess I'll have to start doing that to make him behave. I really don't know what's got into him.

... And I'll have to start keeping him in his Pokeball whenever we go shopping.

You could see where his limit is. If his avarice is too great and he sets his sights on something and fails, he will in all likelihood lose confidence and the problem will resolve itself.
