Are all evolutions like this? This guy made the gym a piece of cake.

[She has type advantage, she has STRONK mons, she's ready.

Though she turned to look at her Graveler. Mumbling.]

I wonder why he evolved before my first pokemon...

Yeah, there's lots of weird ones! My friend had to have a special teapot for his Sinistea to evolve. Haunter to Gengar is another one that needs a trade... And Onix to Steelix needs a trade while Onix is holding a Steel Coat.

My suggestion? Don't worry about any of that except for the pokemon you have or want. That way you don't overcomplicate it.

I'm guessin' they just fuse back in. You've seen Pokemon evolve, right? They just become a ball of light and shift around to whatever they need to be next.

... I hope they don't fall off.

I mean wouldn't you, if you could?

...Yeah. You could do so much with em!

[ That is how math works. They are kindred spirits in this simple aspect. ]

Would evolving to Golem make 'em stronger and more defensive? Yeah, technically! But my Graveler's happy how he is and so am I. [ Kirishima shrugs. ] There's no need for you guys to rush either.

[Sharing a braincell. Because Gabi had been all for evolving straight away if it'd be cool, but losing arms wasn't cool.]

Um, Azalea Town. I got told it's bugs...

Oh yeah! It's got a zip-line park into the forest nearby where you can get lots of bugs! But what's even more fun about Azalea is there are Slowpokes everywhere!

It's not the most exciting place, but I had a good time there. There's just something really zen about those Slowpokes. If you're thinking about staying somewhere to ride out the winter, it might not be a bad place.

My friend wants to go to this daycare thing near Goldenrod. [So they weren't staying long sadly. Just enough time to get. Though Gabi wanted to battle as many strong people as quickly as possible as well. ]

What's zen? They seemed boring to me when I poked one before.

Oh, it means relaxing! Nothing seems to bother them. Roughing it in the wild and working all the time to make sure everyone got to eat was pretty stressful when I went that way the first time. Hanging out with something so calm just made me feel calm too. Does that make sense?

Anyway, Goldenrod's a great choice if you can get there. Lots of room and lots of options!
