Third Spell (text; Welcome to Olivine City)

(Harry has posted this text message on the network a few days after he has arrived at Olivine City. Why he decided to wait for this long to make an announcement post in the city’s Pokémon Center? He just wants to get settled in at Olivine first before he can move into the Femblemtroika compound Hermione has told him a month ago and hopefully get ready for the gym battles soon.)

Wow! I still can’t believe it but I was able to make it to Olivine City after spending most of the time on the routes. I must have been walking around for months since I left New Bark Town to evolve two of my main Pokémon, but at least least me and my team are safe and we are getting settled in Olivine for a good long time.

In the meantime, I might consider doing the gym battles by early next year so I can have the time to get an idea of what works for me and my team and improve my Trainer capabilities while I’m here.

Things are pretty good. Our house will be done soon. We went through it and it's amazing!

Wow, that is really great to hear. Glad that you’re all able to get it build and there will be enough room for the Pokémon soon especially as they grow older and evolve.

Yeah, they're all champing at the bit to move in!

[He's not sure how many will be evolving, but Cosmo and Shadow definitely show interest in it.]

Where are you staying?

I’m currently at the Pokémon Centre in the city right now, but I will be moving out to stay with a friend and a couple of her other friends in a compound within the city real soon. I just need to let know her that I have arrived in here before moving in.

That's great you have a friend to stay with!

Yep, it is very great to have a someone from to stay with. She has been in here for much longer than I do, so she has gotten so much knowledge of Pokémon as the result.

Is that Hermione?

[He thinks he remembers being told by Luna that they know each other.]

Yep, that would be her. I have known Hermione for a very long time. We used to go to the same school together in our world.

That's great! I still wish I could find someone I'm close to back home. Maybe someday....

I agree too. One day whatever forces are bringing us all to this world might bring them in eventually. I mean, it did took Hermione around 2-3 years for me to show up, time travel shenanigans in Hisui aside.

Yeah. I'm conflicted on what I want to happen. I wanna go home, but I can't stand to think of leaving these sweethearts.

[He pet Evie.]

Same here. It is a tough choice to make between staying and returning home to be honest. And I don’t know what would I do if I have to leave my Pokémon as well.

(Not to mention not really looking forward to seeing the damages left behind from the battle in his world too.)

It really is. I still wish there was a way to safely connect the worlds, but that will probably never happen.

Yeah. That is sadly the truth: I don’t think that we will be given a chance to have our worlds connected to this world any time soon.

I get the reasoning why, and yet it still feels like there should be a way to make it work. But ... meanwhile, I'll be grateful for what we have with our Pokemon.

I could say the same thing as well. Making the most of the time we have with our teams and enjoying while we’re here.

Yeah. No sense being down about it the whole time, and with these cuties, that would be impossible anyway!

I'm sure! Mine always rush to cheer me up when I'm down.

Agreed: they make for great friends and travel companions in this place, on and off the road.

Yeah, that’s correct. I still have some things to finish before I transfer out of the Centre. Hopefully we could see each other again real soon.

I hope so too. Maybe at the next big event, whenever that is.

... I wonder if they have Thanksgiving here. That should be coming up this week back home. I think I'll have a Thanksgiving feast at the restaurant on Thursday.

Maybe they do celebrate it in here in some form? Although I never experienced Thanksgiving before, so I’m curious how do people in your world celebrate the holiday. Maybe the Americans in my world have similar traditions as well.

Yeah, I'd think there might be a Harvest festival, at least. I haven't heard about anything like that, though. Thanksgiving is really nice, a big meal with family and friends.
