[ For some of the people here, the girl in the video looks completely new. For others, she's a familiar face. It's been a while since Naminé's been here, but all the same, she looks happy to have returned. The Togepi in her arms looks a little overwhelmed, but Naminé manages to comfort her with a gentle pat. ]

[ The 'gear is shoved somewhat unceremoniously into her bag as she runs off to catch her buddy. ... Luckily, before the Togepi can get into a mountain of trouble, Naminé manages to catch it, if the conversation (slightly muffled, but audible) is anything to go by. ]

[ For whatever reason, Minato had decided to go back rather than forward. After lingering in Violet City for...quite awhile longer than most, he had wandered back down this way just in time to see Togepi make a break for freedom.

As usual, his hands in his pockets and little expression on his face, Minato's tactic is to watch from the sidelines as things work themselves out. Only then does he stroll up. ]

[ Also: it's food. The reason he went back is he liked Cherrygrove's food. ]

[ A new face? Naminé nods, and the Togepi coos quietly. ]

I think so. I think she just got a little too enthusiastic.

[ He lifts a hand in a little "what up" to Togepi. Then it goes right back in his pocket, glancing about. New Bark Town looks...exactly the same. ]

Did you just arrive here?

[ Togepi bounces in Naminé's arms, little arms waving. ]

I did. But I've been here before, once. I'm not sure how long it's been since then...

Xion! And Gwion, hello! [ She gives an excited wave to the Gallade. She's glad he went to her...! ] Okay. I'll stay right here!

[It's apparent right away that some things have changed with Xion--first that her hair grew out a little, second that she looks tanner than the last time Namine might have seen her.

Third is that she apparently came into the possession of a shiny Altaria, which will be her ride of choice for coming to get the other girl. For now she turns off the video feed so there won't be the awkwardness of juggling the camera around while talking, returns Gwion to his ball, saddles up and takes off for the trip.]

So, you know? You've been gone for a few months now! It's Christmas next month, we can have a celebration at the training center again and everything, I haven't been back in Kanto for a while. Seeing Sora and Riku again in person will be new for both of us, right?

[Dipper isn't the one on the screen, though it is his Gear. Instead a Banette and Lucario curiously watch the blond girl and Togepi interact.

She seems nice. The Lucario lets out a bark to let the girl know they are watching.]

[ Luckily, Naminé doesn't mind at all. She gives the Lucario and Banette a wave. ]

[The Banette is in charge of the camera, panning it so that Dipper can be seen on the screen, a Zoroark peeking over his shoulder as he writes and entry into a thick journal.

Seems his Pokemon might just be mostly bored.]
