Hola, everyone! It took us a couple of months, but Mirabel and I just wanted to announce that we finally found a house!

[ She turns the camera around to show the simple but still charming house, with both her and Mirabel’s Pokemon already playing around in the yard. ]

Thank you to everyone who helped us out before! We’re just renting this one for now, but it’s still nice having a space of our own.

It’s in the woodsy area in Olivine City, so there are some stairs to climb in order to get to the house, but it’s still close enough to get to town while still being a little private, plus it has a great view of the ocean. And while it’s not big enough to really, say, have a party in [ So no housewarming party, sorry guys ] there is an extra bedroom if people come over and need to stay for the night. So if anyone would like to drop by, we’d love to have you!

[ As she’s still showing the house, people might see a peculiar Pokemon climbing up onto the roof and, with a loud cry, start striking (what it probably thinks are) heroic poses. ]

Ah…that’s Guerrero, my newest Pokemon. He’s…welcoming everyone too, I think.

[ Guerrero gives another cry before jumping high up into the air, and with a backflip disappears behind the other side of the house and out of sight. ]

…don’t worry, he’s fine. He’s been doing that all day.

[They couldn't go without a place to live forever, but man, Mirabel wishes the rest of the family could see what they did. Their very own house! She waits for Luisa to finish up her announcement before calling out from the porch.]

This house is SO CUTE!

[It's no Casita, but it IS theirs...]

I still can't believe you found it...

[ Well, it's theirs while they're renting it, anyway, and as long as they're able to make payments to the landowner they shouldn't have any problems. Which does remind Luisa, she will need to find a kind of steady job now...

But that's definitely a thought for later, as she gives Mirabel a grin. ]

I know, right? We were really lucky to find it.

[ She'll have to do something to thank Dimitri for the realtor he recommended. ]

I guess there's not much left to do but get settled.

[ Fortunately neither of them really had much to move in, since they tried to keep things sparse while they were traveling. But now came the task of picking which room would be their own. ]

Which room do you want? I don't really have a preference - OH, we can decorate for the holidays!

[At least hopefully they can?]

[ Luisa's face lights up a bit. ] Oh yeah! We should definitely decorate for the holidays!

[ As for the room situation, Luisa already has an idea. ]

You should take the bigger room, the uh...master bedroom? [ That's what it was called, right? ] I can take one of the other rooms.

Hey, that's great! It looks like a really nice place.

[He chuckles at Guerrero's actions.]

It must be interesting with Guerrero around.

Thanks! We're really happy with it.

[ From somewhere off-screen, Guerro gives a cry, and Luisa shakes her head in fond exasperation. ]

Yeah, that's a good way to put it. But honestly, he's pretty good. I think he just likes showing off a bit.

I can imagine! It feels really good getting your own place.

[He chuckles.]

Some of mine like that too.

[Isla thinks the jumping looks fun! She wags her tail attentively. "Vee!"

Radley looks at her.]

Oh no, you are not gonna try that!

It really does. And the timing is perfect too, because we really wanted to find a place before winter really hits, and have a place to spend the holidays in.

[ Having their own place just in time for Christmas is definitely like getting their present early.

She can't help laughing a little. ] Ah...I wouldn't really try it. Guerrero is also a Flying type, so it's a bit easier for him to jump from high places like that.

Great! Are you gonna decorate?

[Isla sighs. "Vee ..."

Radley pats her.]

Hopefully she's convinced.

[He isn't sure. Isla is a daredevil and she's taught it to her son Scotch.]

[ Luisa nods. ] Yeah, I think so. It can't be anything too permanent, since we're just renting, but there's still plenty of other ways to touch up the place.

There sure are! I bet Mirabel already has a lot of ideas.

[She seems the type.]

Oh yeah, definitely. Mira is pretty creative, and she's really good at that kind of thing.

[Radley smiles.]

That's great. She reminds me of my friend Scotch back home. They'd really hit it off.

[Radley's Pokemon Scotch warbles.]

Oh wow! Congratulations on finding a place to live in. Speaking of which, I am also at Olivine City as well, living with a friend and other people in a communal compound.

(Then suddenly a very shiny hyena like pup pokes his head on Harry’s screen as if he is sniffing at it.)

And I also got a new friend as well. Just found him while I was taking a walk around the outskirts of Olivine.

Oh yeah? That's cool! So we're pretty much neighbors then, huh?

[ She's honestly glad for that. It was nice being near people that they knew. ]

Aww, he's cute! That's pretty much how I met Guerrero too; I had been taking a run on the route just outside of Olivine and I ran into him.

Yeah, it is pretty amazing to hear that. And that means we could be seeing each other in the city quite frequently real soon.

(The shiny Poochyena is pretty timid, probably more so than a typical Poochyena would be. And thankfully Minerva hasn’t scared him off just yet or this little guy would have gone hiding under his bed.)

Oh, he is that cute and shiny. I never ran into a shiny Pokémon before, but I guess that it is quite a great surprise either way. He is just just shy though: even a playful prank could scare him.

Yeah, that's true!

[ All the better that she and Mirabel settled in here. It sounded like they would have plenty of neighbors. ]

Oh, he's shiny too? That's really cool! Poor little guy, though. I hope he'll be able to relax a little.

Correct, from what I learned on the Pokédex, a normal Poochyena has black and grey fur, but his leans more to gold than grey and black.

And yes, he is pretty skittish at the moment, I’m doing my best to get him calm down whenever he gets very scared by something so suddenly. Luckily, he has calmed down earlier though he needs help in boosting his confidence.

[ Luisa takes a moment to look it up on her own gear. ] Oh, I see what you mean. The gold with black is a really good look, though.

It's good that he's calmed down even a little. Maybe he finds your presence calming.

Oh it is? Well if anything, today must have been my lucky day then.

Yeah, it might be the case. Several of my team has ended up joining me in more peaceful terms, which seems to be a common thing I am having at the moment.

Really? That's pretty cool. I've had a couple like that, but most of mine preferred to battle first before I was able to catch them.

That is still great that your team want to have a battle before hand.

And to be honest, I was expecting to go through the process of letting my team fight wild Pokémon first before I could catch said wild Pokémon, but the only normal ‘battle first’ catch I was able to go through so far was with my Houndoom Sirius.

Honestly, I don't think that's a bad way to do it. I've heard of people catching Pokemon like that before. I guess every Pokemon is different, so it depends on how they're feeling and whether they want to fight someone or not.

Oh yeah, that is definitely true indeed. Every Pokémon have different personalities and how they want to approach trainers and Pokémon as well.

Exactly. Some like to fight, and some just want to be friends. They're as different as the people we get to meet here.

Oh I agree too. Pokémon have just as many personalities as everyone else and that is definitely a good thing to know. There is nothing wrong with it at all.

Congratulations on finding a house. It is good that your search was successful. That sounds like it would be a good area.

Thanks! It is a bit of a walk to get to the main part of town, but honestly Mirabel and I are pretty used to that already so it wasn't a big deal.

Yeah, Guerrero is really something, all right. [ Despite her words, though, there's a small smile on her face. ] I ran into him this morning, and he wouldn't leave me alone until I fought him.

That is good. It is good to be outside the main part of the town if you prefer a quieter setting. My apartment before moving was right in the middle of Goldenrod. It was convenient, but not quiet.

Very determined it seemed. I suppose he wanted to come with you.

Oh yeah. We did consider Goldenrod for a while, but decided it might be a bit too busy there. This place is pretty peaceful while not being too far away from other people.

Maybe. He put up quite the fight too, so I think he likes taking on challenges.

A good combination of both.

That is possible. They all seem to have different personalities. It could be that he has more competitive spirit.

Yeah, it's really nice. Mira and I are from a pretty small town back home too, so this feels a bit more like home than a bigger city would.

That's for sure. Even after we beat him, he wasn't easy to catch.

[ She used up a lot of Pokeballs trying to get him. ]

That is even better then. It is more familiar and you now have a new place to do with as you wish.

I see. A tough little guy. He certainly seems that way.

[ Luisa nods, and she can't help a smile. ] Yeah. It's a pretty nice feeling to have a place of our own, especially in time for the holidays.

He definitely is. Even if he is a bit strange, I'm glad to have him on my team.

Yes, that will be nice. You can have friends over and decorate. My Espurr has been watching too many home design shows and they seem to be preparing for the preparing for the holiday so he is as well.

That is good. I hope he is a good addition to your team.

Yeah, that'll be fun. I think my sister already has some idea of how she wants to decorate the place.

That is good. I'm sure it is helpful to already have a plan in mind. I can't remember when I last decorated so even though it is strange that my Espurr has been watching home decorating shows, at least he has an idea.

Yeah, to be honest I'm not really good at that kind of thing, so it's good that Mira's so creative. I probably wouldn't decorate it as much if she wasn't here.

That is good. If he ever needs some training partners, I'm sure some of mine would be willing.

What kind of Pokemon is that?

Thanks! We've actually been looking for a place for a while, so it's nice to finally have one.

[ She's definitely glad to be able to put the searching and stuff behind her. ]

The Pokegear says it's called a Hawlucha? But it doesn't look like how a regular Hawlucha does. [ She'll send him a picture of a normal Hawlucha for reference, as Guerrero dashes through the air behind her. ]

Hawlucha, huh. Seems like quite the fighter.

[Almost reminds him of Kikimora, small, punchy, pointy.]

You know, none of my Pokemon are like this, but the guy I travel with? He found a Pokemon not that long ago that looks completely different from how they do in the PokeGear. It was a yellow Shinx, not a blue one. And after that, I was reading the breeder handbook, the one I got when I came here, and-and a couple other books I've found in town, and I know a little about it.

[He hesitates, as if waiting to see if Luisa will cut him off or say something, but then he bowls onward.]

They're apparently pretty rare to find out in the wild, because most Pokemon have standard colors and will only show up like that. But they can also show up in the eggs that bred Pokemon will produce, though again pretty rarely. Sometimes people here can specifically look for these different Pokemon, or get them bred, just for the different colors.

Yeah, he definitely seems that way. When I ran into him, he wouldn't leave me alone until we fought him. And he put up a pretty good fight. [ Though given some of her higher-leveled Pokemon, it didn't...really take all that long.

She waits, letting him speak and listening with fascination. ]

Really? I had a Shinx too, until it evolved, but yeah mine was definitely blue. I didn't realize they were so rare, but I guess that makes sense. So people really try to breed just for them?

So I've read, anyway. I haven't really talked to many other breeders yet, so I don't exactly know the ins and outs of the whole thing.

[Another pause, as if waiting for something, then he cleared his throat and continued.]

B-but-! Because they're rare, I could certainly see why people might. And if you found yours in the wild, and so was my partner's Shinx, there might even be dedicated seekers out there, looking specifically for ones with the weird colorations.

[ Luisa does notice the occasional pauses that he takes while he's talking, but she isn't sure what exactly he's waiting for. Is he waiting for her to do something? ]

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Lots of people like what's unusual or uncommon.

[ It had been one of the main reasons the Encanto had been so tucked away from the rest of the world, after all. ]
