☆85☆ [Video, backdated to that swarm on the 22nd]
All right, this is getting actually dangerous, more than just a pain...
[The video feed is focused on a huffy Azumarill, who looks incredibly scratched up and just not having a good time of it. Ryner is sitting out by the pond with this Azumarill, tending to its wounds with Potions and also some cleaning rags.]
Does anyone happen to know whose Galarian Meowth keeps getting out? Because it keeps coming to the pond and trying to kidnap the Magikarps, and it really shouldn't be doing that.
[Worse than kidnap, really, but he's trying to be nice.
Then there's the telltale sound of a Gyarados roaring, a Hyper Beam charging up and firing, and a flash of light that's bright enough to see even not pointed in that direction at all. Ryner doesn't seem surprised.]
It's been doing this for weeks now, and it doesn't know when to stop. I've tried reasoning with it, but that hasn't worked. And the Gyarados are doing their best to drive it away, but they need to be able to sleep sometimes too, you know? And now even the local wild Pokemon are getting caught in the crossfire.
{"Rill." The Azumarill is not pleased.]
Ahh, could you hold still? I'm almost done...

Re: Voice
Re: Voice
Shrike hasn't had friends for long enough to really know how that feels for himself.
This is probably for the best for all involved that this hasn't been tested, really."And it still doesn't stop?"
Re: Voice
[There's a heavy sigh in his voice.]
If I were that Meowth, I'd have given up a long time ago and picked somewhere a bit less guarded by now, but it keeps coming back here.
Re: Voice
You know, like how wild animals get drawn to places that consistently have food.
Re: Voice
[He isn't even thinking about pokeballs.]
Re: Voice
Shrike tends to let his team out, mind, but he understands those balls have those uses.
Or Ryner could just set up some of those inflatable kiddie pools in the gym.Re: Voice
There is, however, one snag.
"Not all of them have Pokeballs. Some of them just sort of showed up one day and stuck around."
How responsible of you, Ryner.
though the kiddie pool idea does have merit...Re: Voice
Wild Pokémon are another matter entirely, and Shrike's not really sure what to suggest for that.
he could probably even get Sion to help!Re: Voice
Hang on, he's hit a brainwave, which is only partially interrupted by the sound of another Hyper Beam charging up.
"If I put the ones who have Pokeballs in them, and then maybe brought the others inside, there might be room..."
Re: Voice
Most wild Pokémon in his experience are a bit more skittish than that. Then again, these ones are presumably used to Ryner, so.
