All right, this is getting actually dangerous, more than just a pain...

[The video feed is focused on a huffy Azumarill, who looks incredibly scratched up and just not having a good time of it. Ryner is sitting out by the pond with this Azumarill, tending to its wounds with Potions and also some cleaning rags.]

Does anyone happen to know whose Galarian Meowth keeps getting out? Because it keeps coming to the pond and trying to kidnap the Magikarps, and it really shouldn't be doing that.

[Worse than kidnap, really, but he's trying to be nice.

Then there's the telltale sound of a Gyarados roaring, a Hyper Beam charging up and firing, and a flash of light that's bright enough to see even not pointed in that direction at all. Ryner doesn't seem surprised.]

It's been doing this for weeks now, and it doesn't know when to stop. I've tried reasoning with it, but that hasn't worked. And the Gyarados are doing their best to drive it away, but they need to be able to sleep sometimes too, you know? And now even the local wild Pokemon are getting caught in the crossfire.

{"Rill." The Azumarill is not pleased.]

Ahh, could you hold still? I'm almost done...

See, if it's just fish it wants, Route 42 isn't that far. There's a whole lake there, it's a lot bigger than our pond, and it doesn't have a bunch of trained Gyarados protecting it.

["Zu." Not to be a devil's advocate, but the Azumarill thinks this pond is a lot more comfortable to float around in than that lake. Or it would be if the Meowth wasn't being a jerk.]

Ahh, yeah, that'd be helpful. If nothing else, knowing whether it has a trainer or whether it's just a wild one that's oddly stubborn.

A couple weeks ago. It started out showing up once or twice a day, but then it just kept coming...

I mean, I left some Cherubios and stuff for them if they wanted it, but I mostly just left them alone.

The Magikarps will be fine if the Gyarados have anything to say about it. And the Meowth keeps coming back, so clearly it's not getting too badly hurt when they blast it away.

As for this guy...

I've used enough Potions that I think he's mostly being dramatic at this point.

Shrike hasn't had friends for long enough to really know how that feels for himself. This is probably for the best for all involved that this hasn't been tested, really.

If I were that Meowth, I'd have given up a long time ago and picked somewhere a bit less guarded by now, but it keeps coming back here.
