[ Minfilia had a stern look on her face. (And looked a little tired.) ] Hopefully that's the last of that.

[ She comments, not elaborating. But then, she puts on her usual placid smile. ] May I ask something which may seem strange to many of those here? And that is - are the weeks and days and months the same as where you come from? In my case, they are not - our weeks are eight days, our months thirty-two days. I, of course, expect the years are different - but it has still been a struggle to adapt to seven-day weeks.

...That reminds me, however. Though conversion, I have learned it is my nameday-- birthday within the next week. The 23rd, I believe, is the closest to the date I would celebrate back home.

I have no plans for that day. No - a day off is something to celebrate... especially without seeing a Murkrow or Nicket again. [ Huh. She sounds. Tired. Saying those two Pokemons' names. ]

Oooh! Ah, strawberries make sense - they are rather ubiquitous cake ingredients when one wants to use fresh fruit in their baking endeavors. I wonder if these Nameday cakes are similar to a particularly fancy shortcake...

Hm...I suppose it is, but really, any cake is fine so long as it makes the person whose day it is happy.

Ah - gosh, I should've known that question was coming! It's April 13th. I'll be - [She takes a moment to count, the number apparently escaping her immediate knowledge.] - oh, wow, I'll be twenty three this year. Huh!

I suppose that's true. Or even small cupcakes, if that's all that can be made.

Oh-- I shall need to remember that. For no reason. [ She says with a genuine smile for once. And a tiny bit of blush. she will get you a gift even if she knows she is not a good baker!!! ] I'm turning twenty-eight this year, by the way. The years fly by...

Twenty-eight! I wouldn't have guessed it, though you're very...hm...how do I put this? You're very...responsible, and mature - at least, that's the impression I get. Can't say I'm not a little envious; I still get carried away with some less-than-adult sort of behavior...
