[ Minfilia had a stern look on her face. (And looked a little tired.) ] Hopefully that's the last of that.

[ She comments, not elaborating. But then, she puts on her usual placid smile. ] May I ask something which may seem strange to many of those here? And that is - are the weeks and days and months the same as where you come from? In my case, they are not - our weeks are eight days, our months thirty-two days. I, of course, expect the years are different - but it has still been a struggle to adapt to seven-day weeks.

...That reminds me, however. Though conversion, I have learned it is my nameday-- birthday within the next week. The 23rd, I believe, is the closest to the date I would celebrate back home.

I have no plans for that day. No - a day off is something to celebrate... especially without seeing a Murkrow or Nicket again. [ Huh. She sounds. Tired. Saying those two Pokemons' names. ]

We don't have many... corporations where I come from. The closest are still quite the hard workers, but yet they must still sleep.

Where I come from, corporations are the government! You don't equate yourself with what planet or town you come from or whatever, it's what company you work for.

We do have robots, so that helps, but trust me, plenty of the low level workforce is surviving on uppers and space cocaine.

There is a bit of a >:/ look on her face for a moment. ] I must admit, the people I manage do see themselves as outside the main city-states, politically speaking... but I'd not wish for them to be fully under our grips. There have been problems with that. I think you'd not see them as problems, however.

Every system's got it's problems. Trust me, we got plenty of problems in our system. But it's not like it's radically different from other systems. You got your head of everything, a council of people at the top, your local leaders, your regular citizens...

Plus instead of just working and doing the daily grind for abstract ideals like king and country or whatever bullshit they used to be proud of, there's actual physical results.

For coin and country. [ It's said with a bit of disgust. ] Ah-- the rallying cry of one of the city-states I'm far too familiar with. The same who keeps trying to bribe my people into working for them. But we fight for betterment.

Often by tumbling god-like creatures. It's not quite a money-maker, but safety is important.

But hey, I'm with you on the making shit better! Before I got yanked here, I was busy fighting some terrorists who were trying to blow up a populated moon. Who does that?

I've seen a moon fall on our planet - it was really not a good time. Good on you for helping stop those kinds of terrorists.

...Technically, the moon was an artificial prison for a dragon. But either way, it continues to cause problems. Thankfully, our other moon seems inert and without life.

Doesn't sound like it would be. It's just a shitty thing to do, blowing up a moon.

Oh. No, this moon doesn't have a dragon imprisoned in it. [There's something else inside of it.] But it's got colonies on it. And space monsters, but those are kind of just everywhere.

It was. And those people are still around - causing more issues. Wanting to either enslave or kill everybody.

I imagine space is full of monsters and other creatures. [ wrong, space has basically nothing in it because of the embodiment of despair. ] Though for somebody like me, it would be amazing just to step onto the moon.
