[ video | un: MelleBelle ]
[This video comes on to Romelle with six Pokémon, all recently caught.]
It seems the Snorunt wanted me to catch more interesting Pokémon? [She shrugged a little.] Either way, I was able to go back and catch my original attempts later. But now I have six instead of just three.
[As if to show themselves off, they had paired up as the intended and then actually caught. A Cutiefly with a Fomantis, a Shinx with an Audino, and a Poliwag with a Wishiwashi. Romelle wasn't all that put out, but it had been unexpected.]
I hope everyone else had a better time.
But now, I'm thinking about this upcoming contest and festival. It is spring, but... doesn't the image on the invitation look a bit like a snowman?
[She turned her Gear to show it in case anyone forgot.]

Or maybe a torvax... wait, what do humans call it? Right! A penguin!

Re: [video]
[She shifted the view of her Gear to show of the doughy pup in question.]

One of those bread dogs! A few have been sighted in Celadon over the last month, and my Arcanine almost ate one thinking it was an abandoned pastry.
[Moving swiftly on...]
If he has anything in common with the local dog species, I've no doubt he's a delightful companion.
Re: [video]
[The Fidough in question barked in alarm like he understood what was said.]
I'm glad you figured it out. [She chuckled just a bit, though, giving her Fidough a soft pat to the head to comfort him.]
I've heard that many canine-like creatures are often quite amenable to learning tricks and being good companions.

[As it happens, Cecil thinks that occasional laziness is delightful, and he does not bother hiding his smile.]
Usually, food in general is motivating enough, but perhaps Fidough's nature influences their preferences?
