[Video] Remodeling Time~

[The video post opens with Ulaz standing in front of one of the doors in his house. It is an interior door based on the walls. A gaggle of small Pokemon stands with him - his Espurr, Eevee, and Marill]

Thank you for tuning in. My Espurr, Irkut, was excited about starting the remodel and wanted to do this as though it were a remodeling show. So...

The weather has improved so it is time to start with the remodeling of the house. As I have several water Pokemon, one of whom- [He stopped as the camera rotated seemingly on its own to show off the Finizen outside in a kiddy pool through a window. The small dolphin seemed to be having fun and she had babysitters in the form of a Leafeon and Mightyena] Meze. [The camera rotated back] As I was saying, I have one who requires water now so we are going to remodel what will now formerly be a bathroom so the water Pokemon won't be so isolated.

But first, we need to remove this portion of the wall. I have already checked the plans and it is not a load bearing wall so it is fine to take it down. Safety is important in any job so you should wear proper safety gear.

[He paused a moment to pass out small hardhats and eye protection to his Pokemon, all of them happily exclaiming. Irkut had to use his powers to hold the goggles in front of his eyes, Primdes the Eevee looking a bit confused by them before chiming in happily. Once they were set, Ulaz put on his own hat and goggles]

Now that everyone is ready... [The Pokemon stepped more to the side] We are ready to take out this wall. Right here please. [Ulaz tapped a spot on the wall before stepping to the side.

And that was the most warning there was before a Bastiodon surged forward and rammed the wall, taking it out quite handily and making a hole in the wall almost large enough for Ulaz to step through. Ulaz's three Pokemon exclaimed in excitement. They had been expecting this at least so they weren't surprised by the Bastiodon punching a hole in the wall]

[Ulaz said as the Bastiodon was backing up from having rammed the wall. Tryske looked decidedly pleased with himself as he turned around to wander off. He had helped!]

Well that is the first stage of demolition. We will be sure to show more when it has progressed.

[He glanced down at his Pokemon. Ozriv the Marill was playing with her goggles now, Primdes nodded his head back and forth to make his hat wiggle, and Irkut had stopped using his powers so the goggles just tumbled to the floor]

Oh, would your Espurr perhaps like a friend, then? To talk over such matters when you are busy?

You see, many of my own companions were involved in the construction of our own large homestead, and Silkie in particular is quite knowledgeable about a great many subjects. Perhaps she could be of assistance, and she does like feeling useful.

[It's because it feeds her ego, it's. fine.]

Yes, I'm sure that he would love a friend, especially one that might want to talk over such matters with him. So having another to talk would be good for both of them.

[So Irkut could have a new friend and his Silkie could be useful if she liked being helpful]

[Befitting a psychic type, Silkie is already there, and the Indeedee leans politely into the frame with a little smile and a wave.]

This is Silkie.

[That was very fitting and since Irkut had done the same thing to him, he was not all that surprised to see the Indeedee lean in]

Hello Silkie. It is nice to meet you.

[Give him a second as he scoops up Irkut who had been preparing to hang a tripping hazard caution tape over the entrance. The Espurr squeaked in brief protest of being taken away from his task, but oh wait... friends! Irkut squeaked in greeting and gave Silkie and Dimitri a wave]

This is Irkut.

[Being greeted has Silkie bowing her head politely - Dimitri has no doubt that she'd do a proper curtsy if she were in person instead of restricted to a screen.]

[But for now, head bows and waves of her soft hand seem to be enough for now, and she makes a little chirrup of a greeting herself. She's already asking about the things Irkut wants to do, as a matter of fact.]

[......Not that Dimitri can tell that, but he knows she's starting conversation, and he smiles.]

She's a polite young lady, so I am sure this will go well. And I imagine both of ours could make more friends outside of their households, yes?

[Ulaz could tell that she was a very polite Pokemon indeed and he very much appreciated that.

But as Silkie began to ask about what Irkut wanted to do, he would most certainly answer and tell her about all the things that he wanted to do, more than willing to talk about it]

I can see that. She is very polite. Irkut is still young so he may not be as much so. But yes, it is good to give them friends outside of their own houses.

[It seems as though the two are already getting into an easy conversation... Dimitri leaves them to it.]

Ha. All the better reason to let him make new friends.

What town have you decided to settle down in? Should there ever be a reason me and mine will pass through, I could stop by. Silkie is a fine Indeedee, and I have other sociable companions as well.

[And some that aren't allowed to stray too far or else they commit murder, or bank fraud.]

[Yes, it seemed like there wasn't much issue between the two of them talking so Ulaz would turn his conversation to Dmitri]

Yes, I agree. I live near Goldenrod, not far out of the city. Close enough that it is convenient, but far enough that it is quiet.

[Ulaz doesn't have quite the same problem, but if his Hisuian Zorua evolves, he might have the same problem]

Oh! I visit Goldenrod fairly often - it is a very convenient place. And I plan on passing through on the way to start up a new journey at the end of the month.

Perhaps we could stop by then?

Ha, mine is a mixed bag, but I suppose that sort of thing is bound to happen sometimes. I'll be sure to contact you when we figure out the date we'll be in the area, then.

[Because Silkie sure seems to be into the discussion...? Dimitri has no idea what she's saying in her Pokelanguage, but she's sure talking!]

Yes, it is. Some of mine are more social than others. One of the ones I received from my friend's party is a bit of a grump and my Foudre tends to think that she's in charge. But the smaller ones do like to talk to others.

[Which should be obvious as Irkut is still talking with Silkie]
