victory_road | sixth spell (text: missing friend)

(Harry is trying to hold back tears as he finds himself sending out a post on the network about the most devastating departure of a friend to date. This is coming in after Hermione’s disappearance which has left him with 4 Pokémon of hers to look after and raise now and him feeling rather heartbroken.)

Hermione Granger is now gone from this world. I just went to her room a while ago only to find it mostly empty. She is one of the best people I have ever known in my world and one of my best friends; it is going to be hard not to have her around everyday. Also she has left some Pokémon for some to look after and I happen to have 4 to take care in her absence. I am very sorry if this happened so soon.

If you have met her at some point and/or have been friends with her for a long while, she has also left some Pokémon for you as well. Hopefully she is going to be alright at home.

(OOC: So Hermione has sadly left this world and Harry as her best friend has been totally devastated by her disappearance. There is also a list of Pokémon she has passed onto a couple of people so far, Harry included. Please excuse him while he is about to cry his eyes out over a friend leaving this world (for now).)

[The Pokemon exclaim in agreement. Lupus and Cheton will play. Lago wants to watch.

Evie wants to play too! She bounds over.]

Well now, guys. Are you ready to have some fun play time today?

(Many of the Pokémon happily exclaim in joy, including Gardenia. Rowan happily flap his wings in sheer delight: he would like to participate on the play time. Astra and Cyto also follow suit too while Harry brings out some toys for them to play with as well.)

[The Pokemon are soon happily playing and making up games. Radley starts recording a video.]

(Rowan and Cyto decide to attempt to juggle toy balls with the former throwing balls at the latter who then uses Psychic to ‘juggle’ them to entertain the others for fun.

Harry couldn’t help chuckling in delight seeing some of his older Pokémon doing what they can to entertain the younger Mon.)

[Radley laughs.]

That's really cute. They could get a real act going with that.

Oh yes, they certainly thought it would be a cool idea to do this juggling act along for the fun. It was Cyto’s idea to do this and Rowan joined in because he thinks it’s a great parlour trick to entertain the younger team members.

Awww. How sweet. I mean, you could even make money with the act if you wanted. People would probably pay to see it.

Wow, really? Is that possible? Letting some of my Pokémon to entertain people while I’m not battling? I haven’t though much about it but that could be highly possible. Maybe it could be just as rewarding as working in a Pokémon Centre part time.

I haven't heard it isn't possible. It seems like people have Pokemon help them in all walks of life, so why not that too? In any case, it could definitely be part of an act in Contests.

That was also the same thing that Dimitri has brought up when we were at the Spring Contest. He suggested to me that I might give the Contests a try and get some tips from people who have done them in the past. Maybe we could use that as a warm up for the future Contests if ever me and my team have the chance to perform.

That sounds good to me. We're hoping to get into those more at some point. A lot of mine love the spotlight.

Oh wow, it is really nice. I do notice that a lot of my Pokémon would love to take in one too. Gardenia especially, she has expressed an interest in that for a while now. And maybe even Ron and Ginny as well.

Molly thought it was a very weird idea though. I am hoping to get her to change her views someday.

I like them since they're not so much about battling. A few of mine are unimpressed, though. And Cosmo is shy.

I also have a feeling that some may not want to get on board with just yet. Lily is more into battling while poor Neville is just too shy that he couldn’t bear to perform on stage. Astra and Pinecone lean towards more reserved at the moment.

So everyone is understandably having mixed feelings about performing in Contests at this time.

I get that. Well, hopefully the ones who want to will get the chance soon.

Thanks. I will try to take the time to get it together and learn more about Contests and how to make a great performance.

(Astra joins in the fun as she uses Psychic to bring in more juggling balls as well, though she is not trying to showboat too much like Rowan and Cyto.)

Thanks Radley. I am hoping to try to learn more about them and try to find a good way to present any Contest performance and hope for the best.

(Cyto and Rowan happily notices Astra joining in the juggling act and they also cheer on for her and Isla. If Isla needs some help, Astra could help by using Psychic to assist in her juggling.)

(Gardenia happily chirps as she bounces about while waving her tiny arms/wings energetically.)

(Gardenia’s energetic movements has her spinning her around as she waves her little wing arms. She really wants to be participating in Contests someday and hopefully grow strong to show the world what she got.)

Oh yes. She is very excited to one day perform in a Contest ever since we went to the Spring and Celebi festival. And look, I think that she is practising dancing ahead of time so she get to show them off.
