sixth spell (text: missing friend)

(Harry is trying to hold back tears as he finds himself sending out a post on the network about the most devastating departure of a friend to date. This is coming in after Hermione’s disappearance which has left him with 4 Pokémon of hers to look after and raise now and him feeling rather heartbroken.)

Hermione Granger is now gone from this world. I just went to her room a while ago only to find it mostly empty. She is one of the best people I have ever known in my world and one of my best friends; it is going to be hard not to have her around everyday. Also she has left some Pokémon for some to look after and I happen to have 4 to take care in her absence. I am very sorry if this happened so soon.

If you have met her at some point and/or have been friends with her for a long while, she has also left some Pokémon for you as well. Hopefully she is going to be alright at home.

(OOC: So Hermione has sadly left this world and Harry as her best friend has been totally devastated by her disappearance. There is also a list of Pokémon she has passed onto a couple of people so far, Harry included. Please excuse him while he is about to cry his eyes out over a friend leaving this world (for now).)

I'm sorry, Harry. I can't begin to imagine how rough that is.

She gave me my first egg shortly after I arrived, along with really good notes on ghost pokémon and some other lore questions I had. If you want and you're alright with it, I'll gladly take any of her books for safekeeping. I've been wanting to dive back into doing research again. Figure that's a good way to continue her legacy too.

Oh gee, thanks Marik. She does have an extensive knowledge on many topics, Pokémon and Pokémon breeding included.

I am pretty sure that she would love to have someone else looking after her books for safe keeping very much. I am at a loss of words on how to look after them myself since I am not that as heavily invested in reading as much as her.

Of course. I saw that massive tome she has when I started asking about ghost pokémon. I'd love to be able to read it and see what her thoughts are on things.

If she ever does return here, I'll give them back. I can send Ramses over to pick them up from you.

Yes, you and Ramses can return them back whenever she does return back to Jotho someday. I don’t mind anyone checking on her notes and take some lessons from reading them.

Feeling really down at the moment, I almost cried some tears earlier. I haven’t gotten out of the compound since I learned of her disappearance just yet. I still have another friend from my world and I haven’t told Luna about it right now.

Oh yes, please do drop by at Olivine, Marik. You can come over to the compound in Olivine at any time as you wish. I could use some company to talk to and have something to do to keep my mind out from being a sad sob for longer than I need to.

[So, of course, it wouldn't be very long after, but enough time for Harry to get ready if he wanted to, that Luna would be knocking at his door. She had a basket with her.]

(As soon as he is able to get ready and leaves his room, Harry walks up to the door and opens to find Luna carrying a basket with her. He is really glad to see that his remaining good friend from home is able to come in during this tough time.)

Hi Luna. Glad that you can make it here. I wonder what is inside the basket.

(Rolling behind him and leaving a trail of slime, Veronice the Hisuian Sliggoo arrives to greet the blonde lady.)

Then I supposed I'll just have to show you.

[Luna sounded amused as she stepped inside. She gave Veronice a careful pat as to not get all the slime all over herself, and then set the basket on a table so they could look through it.]

Not all the food here is the same as back home, but I did my best trying to find some items that would be a comfort.

[And certainly, she had found a good supply of baked sweets, both for Harry and herself, and some for Pokémon.]

(Harry’s eyes widen in pure excitement as soon as he sees the treats Luna has made for him, her and his team. These look really amazing even if they’re not like the ones he has been used to at home. Veronice coos on as she sees the treats in question, eager to get some too.)

Wow, Luna! These look really wonderful. At least there is enough for everyone to share and eat. I really appreciate the effort you put into baking them. Hey Veronice, I notice that you want to try some of my friend Luna’s baked treats. Want to get some?

I'm so sorry, Harry. I woke up to a lot of my Pokemon warbling and cooing. I found a Shiny Eevee and a Skitty grooming each other in the living room near the PC and an Alolan Vulpix sticking her nose up at mine, who was doing the same thing to her. I guess they came over and Evie or Cosmo got them out of the PC. When I realized what must have happened, I was really sad. I'm honored I was considered close enough to look after some of Hermione's Pokemon, but losing her is definitely a blow. She was always really kind and friendly to me. Her Pokemon will have a happy home with me, but I'll hope she'll come back again someday.

Oh gee. Thanks Radley. I appreciate it a lot. Glad to hear that you are able to receive them from the PC. I was surprised to see 4 of Hermione’s Pokémon after I went inside her room to find her: they were standing behind me when I closed the door.

Apparently they want to help me out after they must have learned about what happened. Especially Kabo and Cyto since they know her the best. Yeah, losing her is definitely quite the blow to everyone. I will have to check in with the other roommates in the compound to see if they have learned of her disappearance.

That's nice you can be there for each other. I'm sure the Pokemon are sad too. The ones I got seem like they're trying to get comfort from each other. I think one of the hardest things about this is not being able to say Goodbye.

That's really sweet of them. It'll be a hard day for everyone there. Maybe some more of her Pokemon will be with others in the compound.

I thought so as well. I have checked with them and they did express a lot of sadness of not seeing her again or even getting to say goodbye. I do hope that I can help them and take good care of them just like her. My team would like to meet up with Cyto, Astra, Kabo and Veronice right aay so the transition will be as smooth as possible.

(He remembers about the conversation about people vanishing from the world of Pokémon that he and Hermione had when they reunited in Hisui on his very first day. The young man knows that times likes this would inevitable but he didn’t expect it to come too soon.)

Yes that’s definitely correct. I am sure that some of them had gotten a couple of her Pokémon right about now.

Oh brilliant! That is great to hear. Maybe when I have the time after sorting everything out, I can come over and visit them. My team would love to visit and see them and many of them would love to play with them too.

Yeah, at least there is some things and Pokémon of hers that are still here for us to cherish everyday.

oh no, amaterasu is really sorry to hear that you're friend is gone. amaterasu hopes that you will be okay.

( while she doesn't know harry and has never known hermione, she's sad for him because she's never been the sort of kami to like when the humans are upset in any way, shape or form. )

if you need anything, even though amaterasu is pretty new to the world here, amaterasu is happy to try and help you feel better! even though amaterasu isn't super used to food just yet, amaterasu has heard that sometimes it helps with feeling sad. maybe amaterasu could bring you something!

I’m currently living with some other people in Olivine City. Been living in there since October of last year.
