(Harry is trying to hold back tears as he finds himself sending out a post on the network about the most devastating departure of a friend to date. This is coming in after Hermione’s disappearance which has left him with 4 Pokémon of hers to look after and raise now and him feeling rather heartbroken.)

Hermione Granger is now gone from this world. I just went to her room a while ago only to find it mostly empty. She is one of the best people I have ever known in my world and one of my best friends; it is going to be hard not to have her around everyday. Also she has left some Pokémon for some to look after and I happen to have 4 to take care in her absence. I am very sorry if this happened so soon.

If you have met her at some point and/or have been friends with her for a long while, she has also left some Pokémon for you as well. Hopefully she is going to be alright at home.

(OOC: So Hermione has sadly left this world and Harry as her best friend has been totally devastated by her disappearance. There is also a list of Pokémon she has passed onto a couple of people so far, Harry included. Please excuse him while he is about to cry his eyes out over a friend leaving this world (for now).)

Marik perks up as Harry tells him about Sirius's motorcycle. Yes, this is good.]

Do you happen to know what model of bike it was? It's not super important or anything. I'm just curious. I'd always wanted a motorcycle since I was a child... so I tried to research as much as I could about them.

Hm, I’m going to try to remember it very clearly. I may not be an expert on remembering motorbike models but it might have been, I think, a Triumph Bonneville T120. It does have a side car that would allow for another person to ride on it.

Back in the UK, the driver seat is usually on the right side so the side car should be normally on the left.

[The blonde's eyes absolutely light up. Marik researched as much as he could once he ran away from the tomb, trying to learn about the different companies and models. (When he wasn't busy with his counterfeiting business.)]

Ah, the Bonneville...! That's a nice model. The sidecar gives it that perfect old fashioned looked.

[He grins and leans on his arm on the countertop.]

Then I've got a surprise for you when we're done with food.

My godfather would have loved to hear that from you too if he is also in here. He will be absolutely happy to hear that someone else also thought that motorcycles are pretty cool. They are just as neat and handy to use as brooms in my world.

(As he continues to munch on the edamame and tempura, he begins to wonder what sort of surprise Marik has in store for him. Was it connected to their motorcycle chat right now? Maybe that could be the case.)

Oh wow, a surprise for me? That is really brilliant! I would love to see what the surprise is about once we’re done with dinner. I’m really intrigued to see what it is like.

Heheh. If he ever does wind up here, I'd love to talk to him about it!

[The chef doesn't take very long given all of their dishes were fairly simple, handing everyone exactly what they ordered. The server returns to take any empty dishes they have to help clean up. Marik stirs his ramen around with his chopsticks to get the ingredients better mixed up (and might throw a shrimp or two in there).

He's very pleased with Harry's excitement.]

It's part of a "little" project I've been working on since January.

... But you mentioned brooms. Do you... fly on them like I've seen in cartoons?

Yep, I would love to introduce him to you someday. That would be a brilliant dream to have.

(As he starts to mix and dig into his gyudon, his team enjoys their meals as well. Everyone is enjoying their dinner very much, not noticing that emotional pain he had from losing Hermione is not as present as before.)

A “little” project of yours? It sounds like you have been very busy for a while now. I do hope that the results will be very wonderful to see. And yes, we do actually fly brooms just like in the cartoons, even used them on sports as well.

[Dinner was a success then! Marik takes a few slurps of noodles, grunting in agreement to Harry saying that it sounded as if he'd been busy. Once he's swallowed, he goes to respond.]

The results have been very good so far. I think it's still a bit of a ways off before I debut but I'm pleased with the results.

[A pause to munch on a naruto cake.]

Oh? Sports on brooms? What's that like?

Sounds really great to hear. I do hope that you’ll be able to get some success from it when you debut it to the public. I bet that it will be a successful one eventually.

If you have some familiarity with football, the one with the black and white ball, then Quidditch does have some similarities to it. It is quite popular in my world especially in the UK.

In there, two teams of seven would shoot 4 kinds of balls at the enemy’s hoops that give a team a certain amount of points. Two of them would fly on their own accord while the last two are basically free for all. The matches tend to go on for a while as you try to earn more points than the opposing team until a small gold metal like ball with wings pops up and someone tries to catch it by ‘swallowing’ it to win the game for their team. I used to play it often when I was studying in Scotland.

[Marik grins sheepishly despite how much that just puffed up his ego.]

[He continues eating his ramen, holding the bowl in one hand and his chopsticks in the other as he listens to Harry describe the sport to him. Of course the teen waits until his mouth isn't full of noodles before interjecting.]

Huh... That sounds really interesting. I bet it's fun to watch. Did you play it professionally or just as a hobby?

Not on a major professional level per say, but I could play well enough to play the sport in a team setting as a Seeker which is one of the roles in a Quidditch team. I was even made Team Captain in my Sixth Year too. My dad used to play it too as a Chaser and I might have gotten the talent and broom flying from him.

(He takes a moment to eat more of his gyudon while his team chatter about among themselves of which flavors of Pokétreats taste better. And funnily enough Harry finds it quite humorous whenever they have this friendly argument among themselves with Violet trying to keep the conservation as civil as possible.)

Oi! You guys are ‘fighting’ over Pokétreat flavours again?
