sixth spell (text: missing friend)
(Harry is trying to hold back tears as he finds himself sending out a post on the network about the most devastating departure of a friend to date. This is coming in after Hermione’s disappearance which has left him with 4 Pokémon of hers to look after and raise now and him feeling rather heartbroken.)
Hermione Granger is now gone from this world. I just went to her room a while ago only to find it mostly empty. She is one of the best people I have ever known in my world and one of my best friends; it is going to be hard not to have her around everyday. Also she has left some Pokémon for some to look after and I happen to have 4 to take care in her absence. I am very sorry if this happened so soon.
If you have met her at some point and/or have been friends with her for a long while, she has also left some Pokémon for you as well. Hopefully she is going to be alright at home.
(OOC: So Hermione has sadly left this world and Harry as her best friend has been totally devastated by her disappearance. There is also a list of Pokémon she has passed onto a couple of people so far, Harry included. Please excuse him while he is about to cry his eyes out over a friend leaving this world (for now).)

Oh wow! You have fire magic and are the living embodiment of the sun? This is pretty neat. I never got to meet that many people who have powers over the elements before.
no subject
Yes! Amatearsu is the sun and my sister, Tsukuyomi, is the moon! We are the kami from Yamato that makes sure there is balance! But also, Amatearsu just likes to be there for my people. It's what every good kami should do. Can you use elemental magics?

(Harry is trying to feel very jealous of Amaterasu and her peers being able to use magic freely without wands. He must have begun to wonder what it is like to cast magic sans wands.)
Kami? That must be a very impressive role to have in maintaining order in your world. I never thought that I could meet one myself until now. As for elemental magic, I do know of some spells that produce fire and water but that’s just all I can think of on the top of my head.

( sorry! she didn't mean to upset him. )
Kami is "God" or "Aesir," but Amaterasu hates those terms. I prefer Kami! Kami is the best. (
even if hel says otherwise.) Amaterasu has never met a wand user before and I think that's very impressive! It must take so much concentration to make something beautiful-- such as fire-- ( biased much... ) --with something as fascinating as a wand!no subject
(He didn’t got too embarrassed when she said something about the brooms.)
Yeah it does take a lot of practise and time to learn each spell and how to use wand gestures, as well as ensuring that things will try to work as intended. But once you’re able to get the hang of it, the results will be brilliant. Although there is also such a thing as needing a wand to be matched up with a potential user in my world.

( that's good! she wasn't trying to be silly about it after all -- even though she mentioned it only being at halloween. )
That sounds like it means that your skills with a wand are very good with how many you must know! What kind of matching up is important?

(Having no access to magic is kinda sad for someone who used magic so much at home, but there is no point of moping over that.)
An old gentleman from my world once said that a wand chooses its owner, it can’t be the other way around. The wands in my world have some sentience and they can be picky of who they want to be paired with when someone goes to get one for the first time. I had to go through two failed wand matches before I got the one I still keep to this day.

( very true on both counts! )
Oh wow! That's even more excellent! Amaterasu didn't realize that. I wonder if that's the same way for other worlds where people need to use wands, too? The differences in worlds here is really very amazing.

I also think of the same thing as well. Back then didn’t know that there are so many different worlds out there until I came here and yet I honestly find learning about each world just as fascinating too. Maybe it is possible that some worlds might have a similar things with their wands like mine while others don’t.

( kindred perhaps? )
Amaterasu has been enjoying hearing about the other worlds, too. It's fascinating! But your world especially sounds nice to Amaterasu because of all the magic. Have you found other places from word of mouth that are akin to yours?

I think that I have a friend who happens to have magic as well although it functions in her world is a lot different of how magic works in our worlds. Apparently her family are the only ones who have it in there. I haven’t visited to any other worlds with magic just yet but I do hope that there is a chance for all of us to visit each other’s worlds.

You know, Amaterasu. You might be onto something: maybe one of us might consider posting on the network asking people from magical worlds about what it is like having magic and everyone could share any insights on magic we have. To share differences and similarities our respective magics and learn about them too.
no subject
Oh! That is such a good idea. Learning from others would be interesting and even if we can't learn anything, just knowing how their fields of magic work would be like sharing something personal and getting to know someone much better. Amaterasu likes your thinking style, Harry!

(That is that hidden Slytherin side of him at work even if he doesn’t want to admit it out loud publicly. He just thought it would serve as a great ice breaker for everyone who’re all stranded in this world and a great learning resource too.)

( it does serve as a pretty interesting ice breaker if nothing else. )
