[It's dusk, and Allura's already set up camp on Route 29 somewhere outside of New Bark Town. Logic says she should have stayed in town, but after a few days milling around, asking the locals, garnering what she can from the few citizens of that town, she makes the conclusion that she should finally make use of her PokeGear, and just...set out.
She's propped up against the base of a tree, and there's the sound of something crying off screen, plaintive and hollow, and Allura just looks...tired.]
This is Princess Allura of the planet Altea, and as charming of a planet and its wildlife may be, I...have a hard time believing that I will be trapped here for good. I'm not certain which system I'm in, but wherever this "Johto" is located I must go back, because I am beginning to feel this has little to do with a misdirected wormhole and much to do with...another force. So far, the native population has been of little help beyond giving me necessary supplies for my "journey."
[She pauses, finally reaching forward and beckoning the crying creature towards her, and her Cubone waddles over, camera shifting a bit as he makes himself seemingly at home, resting his head against her chest. Her free hand rubs the bone forehead of its helm as she continues. It looks like she's about to say something, but she changes her mind, shaking her head and sighing.]
I suppose there's nothing to be done about the music either...

[And then fumbled it. Dropping it.]
[Can you really blame him, though? Because his heart is racing, and adrenaline is going crazy. She's here. She's sitting there and broadcasting and she's okay.]
Allura? Where are you?
video;
she sits up, alert, hand stilled against the nose of her Cubone, an edge to her voice.]
Shiro? I'm on Route 29. You're here? Are the others with you?
Is everything all right?
video;
Hunk, Keith and Lance are here -- Is Pidge with you? Are you okay?
[No everything is Not Okay. You were kidnapped and it's all his fault.]
video;
She's not, neither is Coran.
And of course I'm fine. Are you? Haggar seemed to have done a number on you and...you're not badly injured, are you? And are the lions here?
[aka she might be speedrunning through the spiel of All The Important things on the top of her mind, and her Cubone is also seeming a bit panicked, smothering its face further against her chest.]

*if you're going to start out your broadcast all formal, he'll respond in kind, after all*
While I certainly understand your sense of urgency, I'm afraid there's no known way to leave this world at will. However, you may find it reassuring to know that time spent here appears to have no relation to that of other worlds.
*a beat*
And no, there isn't anything that can be done about the music.
Video
It is good to meet you. I am afraid I have not heard of your Empire, unfortunately, although I'm not assuming you know of mine either.
[Because hey, a lot has happened over 10,000 years to be fair! She does look thoughtful at his response, hand resting comfortably against the snout of her Cubone who has fallen asleep by now.]
...I'm not entirely sure if that is reassuring. I mean, it's good that nothing will happen but...being stuck here is not necessarily a comfort. [AND A DEEP FROWN] Nor is the idea of nonstop music, either.
Re: Video
Being trapped somewhere unwillingly is never good, no, but at least there's no need to worry about what's happening elsewhere during that time.
*not that that ever stopped him, but*
As for the music, usually the less you think about it, the easier it becomes to ignore.

[ever the diplomat!! that's her.]
Are there other royals brought to this planet?
video
Other kings and lords are here, but as far as I am aware, you may ze the first princess among us.

[Hunk's eyes go wide. Of all the people to get dragged there as well...]
Sorry. The music is kinda, uh... seems like it's on worldly auto-play. And we're, um... stuck? We should probably come get you, though. How long have you been here?!
video;
And I have only been here for around two days. I...needed to get my bearings.
[and she frowns slightly. because being stuck on a planet with a continuous auto-play of music is not...an ideal.]
A shame about the music though. Beyond being stuck here this place seems...pleasant. I didn't expect to find myself on a planet untouched by the Galra anytime soon.
video;
Princess, you should've told us! We can probably head your way to meet you!
[There's a soft sigh.] I realized the only way to combat the music is with... different music. It's weird. But yeah, it's also really weird that there haven't been any Galra-related anythings here. Either they haven't found this place or the older Pokemon took care of it? The legends say they're amazing so... maybe.

... at least you get used to the music?

What, with their primitive technology and the like. So she's more than happy to explain.]
A wormhole is simply a portal to get from one place to the other as quickly as possible. It's essentially a shortcut through space-time, makes intergalactic travel much more efficient.
Have you ever observed anyone leaving? It's just strange to think that there is a way out, but it's beyond our means of control.
video;
A portal... [He's really trying here, but these are concepts he is not very familiar with.] Like... a tunnel?
And I've never witnessed anyone leaving in front of my very eyes. To be honest, I'm not sure if anyone ever has. [Now that is an interesting thing to ponder; perhaps he should ask Sion, who knows more than most about this world.] What I have witnessed is the disappearance of some people I've spoken with before. Not anyone I knew very closely though. And according to someone I've met here, one of my friends was in this world before, though he doesn't remember that stay. I think he's telling the truth; he knew things about our world that he couldn't have known without speaking to one of us.

[So he actually flips on the video feed, one eyed and blue marked as he is at the moment.]
Yeeeeah, the music's a special kind of hell, isn't it?
Hate to break it to ya, 'cause I really hate giving nice ladies bad news, but you're definitely stuck here. We all are. I dunno, it's some kinda alien BS magic crap. The natives are useless. They mostly just wanna battle with us. Not us us, our Pokemon, it's a whole thing...
Guess this is a pretty big change, for a princess. I'm Handsome Jack, also trying to get back to my planet. No clue what galaxy we're in. This planet's so far off the charts we're bumping into the space-dragons in the corner of the maps...
Video
[But her frown makes it obvious that she's having a hard time believing that.]
Nor is the idea of forcing these creatures to fight for entertainment something else I'll get used to. It seems needlessly cruel, especially when this world seems otherwise benign.
It is troubling not knowing where in the galaxy I am. And that I am left without a means of leaving.
Video
Good news, though, nobody's forcing anything to do anything. The native wildlife here fights. They do it in the wild, they'd do it whether people made a sport out of it or not. It's not really as brutal as it sounds.
Yeah. Yeah it is. I've been trying to figure it out, but I tell ya, I don't recognize a single formation in the night sky.

[Look what you've done. You better run while you can, there's no escaping Mabel once you use the infamous P word!]
Voice
I did.

Then you've got to tell me what kind of awesome stuff you do! Pretty please? With lots and lots and LOTS of cherries on top? I'll even give you all my berries if I have to!
[Insert look of Pokemon looking sad here]

I'm sure you've gotten all of the run down so far, I will just have to give my condolences that you arrived in distress, your highness.
[A pause.]
Your Cubone, is it all right?
[video]
It's...fine. The distress has abated in the past day or so, I will admit.
[She frowns, looking down at the Cubone who's now sleeping in her lap.]
And he's...actually, I'm not sure. It's not normal for these creatures to cry as often as he does, is it?
[video]
[There's also the fact that Cubone wears its mother's skull, but Botan still hasn't figured out the logic of that when Cubone are bred and born to trainers with their parents still living.]
For Pokemon in general it depends on their personality, they are quite similar to humans when it comes to emotional expression.
