[Today, you are all treated to the sight of a very wet Armin. Which isn't very unusual, but what is unusual is that he is wet down to his toes and still in his regular clothes.

He is wringing out his shirt, pushing back his sopping hair, before he notices the broadcast is on (the signal isn't the best out here).]

[Despite the aforementioned wetness, Armin seems really cheery. Excited even!]

Well, this tunnel is a bust. Nothing but water in here. I think a water main must have burst further up ahead.

How have the rest of you been faring? Any luck? I know the legendary seekers can be a bit... overly enthusiastic, but this time, it really did seem like the real deal. I receive their monthly newsletter than this picture wasn't nearly as blurry and grainy as the rest of them.

Also, has anyone been keeping track of which tunnels have been explored or not? I feel it wouldn't be very helpful if we all keep looking in the same tunnels. I could keep track of them all on a map if you can give me the coordinates of the ones you've looked through.

The ceiling, huh? Yes, I guess that would be a lot to deal with.

[Armin doesn't sound entirely impressed. It's just a side-effect of training to deal with titans. When most of your opponents are 15 meters tall, something that is only the size of a room is... well, it's big-ish, but not big.

Though at least titans don't turn invisible.]

Louie. [Please just imagine him pressing his hands together and to his lips. Taking a slow breath.] I don't mean this as a slight against your family but... they really overdo everything, don't they?

[A robot that can turn invisible and reverse gravity and is also giant? On top of a security system that also does all these things? Is this perhaps just maybe a little over the top?]

[Louie gives a very dramatic eyeroll there, so much so that his head kind of moves with it.]

Yes!! Oh my goodness, thank you! They cannot just be normal about anything, it's also so- so over the top! [He sighs.] I love them, okay, but they're ridiculous. It's not like it'd kill them to just go for the minimum for once.

I think some people just aren't built that way. Eren never did anything by halves either. [Armin shakes his head a little, his expression fond.] He probably would've gotten beaten up less when we were kids if he had known when to quit.

Yeah, no offense, but I just don't get that. People talk a lot about sticking with things, you keep getting up and trying again... But doesn't it make sense that if something keeps not working out, you learn and try a different thing?

I think it depends on what your goal is. I was not a good recruit during training. My ability to use the gear was middling at best, and I was often last in class whenever we did anything physical. Our instructor told me I was just going to get in the way on the field and to hurry up and drop out nearly every day. But I had something I wanted to achieve, and there was no other way to achieve that, so I kept at it.

Aren't you the same? Not all of your business ideas have... worked out, but that doesn't keep you from trying again, does it? Because there is something you want that is bigger than those failures.

What? No. [A beat and then, with less certainty:] No...?

I mean, when you put it like that, it does sound similar, but I wouldn't say it really is. 'Cause I'm figuring out how to do things in the easiest way, so things will be even easier when I'm an adult.
