Now that everyone has hopefully had enough time to recover from the events regarding those tunnels and the mysterious creature within...

I have been thinking about that quite a bit, I must confess. Isn't it intriguing that, even in a world so developed and known as this, there are still mysteries spread throughout it?

Species we are not familiar with. Legendaries that evade all attempts to be known. Macaroni and cheese boxes which boast about their cheesiness and which yet contain no packet.

[One of these things is not like the other.]

So, my question to others in our predicament is... What mysteries have held your attention, whether in this place, or your homelands?

For myself, personally, I have ended up stumbling onto the answers of many practical matters. Medicine, food, things of that nature. It is still incredible to me how Johto and Kanto manage to handle it all so readiliy, to the point that even travelers such as ourselves can live comfortably with some effort.

Yet I wonder more about these Legendaries as well, and what an interesting presence they possess....

I see.... I have wondered that myself. It seems as though so much crosses over, during such weekends, and yet they have a fixed time. Certainly, it would be understandable for them to be some crossover considering that our own existence proves it can be so, but, in that case, why does it become so hard to remember them clearly?

What were the mysteries you looked into back home, if I may ask?

Perhaps there is something that happens that makes the Gods wish for us not to remember. Yet, they exist... and we can make bonds. The same person may visit more then once, and remember as well. Thus, perhaps, they allow alterations of our home...

[ But she stops rambling, and perks up with a little hm! sound! ] I studied and helped stop the threat of deity-like figures, who have the ability to enthrall people to their desires. I also hoped to analyze the abilities some of us gain - the ability to resist such enthrallment, alongside other abilities. There are some who said these abilities made us monsters, but I disagree. For example, it allowed us to understand all languages - and sometimes, see peoples' pasts. Uncontrolled, it was... a little dangerous, I must admit, but it could be of use.

It is an ability I do not have here, except for those weekends. I often try not to mention it - for one of the people who opposed me and my people is here.

[Honestly, Dimitri has to wonder how much of an effect the Gods have here - if, of course, they refer to the Legendaries as Gods rather than anything from any other world. Do they really bother with such a thing? And to do it so regularly, in a way that's nearly clockwork?]

[Something to wonder for another time. Instead, her own tale is of much more import for the current conversation, and he nods along - until that final sentence is spoken, and he freezes.]

Is this other person - do they pursue you or bother you in any way?

At times, yes - he cannot help but message me, at times. But even without him bothering me, it is why I tend to avoid Goldenrod City - it is where he lives, after all.

[ Her voice has dropped a little more, any cheerfulness fading. A whisper, for she is worried he may be listening. Perhaps her guard does not need to be up so much - but she hates him so. [The Empire- Dimitri's lip curls over his teeth as though he would tear through something with his very teeth. He knows, logically, that it cannot be the Empire which he knows and loathes. He knows it cannot be the Empire which started off everything - or, at least, was used as a tool, was the name for all his hatred to be funneled towards.]

[But, well. It is hard, to be so easily rid of old habits.]

[At least he restrains himself soon enough, so that his voice is still level and somber when he speaks.]

What is his name? Should he ever bother you again, I would gladly be at your side to help fend him off. In a place such as this, at least his title holds no weight or meaning, and I trust my own team to surmount any opponent.

[ And yet, by both their reaction, a promise of protection, they both seemed to be on a similar wavelength - and one that Minfilia was almost comfortable on. There was a silence. Minfilia is so glad this is only audio, or perhaps her fear would erupt from her chest visibly. ]

There are two names he goes by. Solus is the one I knew - Solus zos Galvus.

However, he is also known as Emet-Selch. [ Both names, even said so calmly, tasted of poison. ] I dared not speak of his deeds when I first arrived. Lest he had grown a position of popularity with native or traveller.

Solus.... and Emet-Selch. I see.

I can understand having such a fear, a worry. When we arrive in this place, we are truly at our most vulnerable, and those who arrive before us undoubtedly have an advantage.

[When it comes to simple things, such as money, or Pokemon, things of that nature, Dimitri is of the firm belief that they are easily overcome, just by the welcoming nature of Johto and Kanto. However, in other areas, more vulnerable ones...]
