video; backdated to just after Lost World Wraps
[This is very clearly not meant to be video. For one thing, it's featuring Shiro's tiny closet of a bedroom. For another, this man has obviously just woken up. His hair is sticking up at weird angles, he's trying to blink his eyes hard enough to keep them open.]
[What is this. Was he sleeping?]
Did ... did we win? The big - [A sort of floppy hand gesture.] Big Suicune thing? Did we win?
[Behold, the end result of extended use of Mega-Evolution. Exhaustion for trainer and pokemon both.]
[Please send coffee.]

[He folds his legs up under him, sitting cross-legged on the bed, and curling both hands around the mug.]
[Yeah, definitely needed this.]
Eight badges in one region, at least. Pokemon has to be level one hundred, and one of the types that can do it. [He lifts his right hand, the wristband still around it with the Aggronite set in.] Then you get one of these.
But it takes so much energy out of both you and your pokemon. Kuro and I don't use it unless it's absolutely necessary.
no subject
Makes sense. If you use it at the wrong time, you could really mess things up for yourself.

We did a little for the training demonstrations, but those were short bursts back and forth. Snacks and hydration got us back in action then.
[This had been an all-out battle. So much different. More like the time on the beach. With the Jellyfish...]
no subject
[A beat.]
You guys are gonna be okay, though, right?
[Yes, he worried about you, Shiro.]
no subject
[He sees that worry, and he offers a smile. Hoping to ease said concerns.]
Just need to wake up, get moving again.
no subject
Well, if you need anything in the meantime, let me know.
[Though, if Keith got caught by Allura doing anything extra right now, she'd probably scold him and then take over.]
no subject
[Unless he's remembering wrong here.]
... we probably have leftovers we can microwave. [For breakfast. Or brunch. Or dinner. Whatever time it is. Something low-effort.]
no subject
I'm not that bad.
[Which wasn't entirely untrue. But Keith wasn't exactly known for doing things in moderation.]
I'll be fine.
[But, yeah... actually... they did have that.]
Did you want something to eat? I can grab you something.
no subject
Uh huh. You sure?
[A shake of his head.]
Or we could both go. I'm not sick, man.
no subject
Mm-hm. [He nodded.] I'm sure. [He was even trying to take it easy, but he was restless and bored, and that was the hardest part.]
We could... if you're feeling up to getting around.
[He knew Shiro wasn't sick... or injured... just tired. So, that wasn't too terrible.]
no subject
[He's going to swing his legs out of bed now, bro. Don't stop him. He won't be stopped.]
All else fails, we'll raid the fridge for sandwich ingredients.
no subject
And sandwiches are fine. I can handle doing that no problem.
[Like Keith was going to let Shiro actually handle food... HA!]
no subject
[His pokemon, he means. He's got to keep a tight leash on some of his... like Blue.]
... I can make sandwiches without setting anything on fire.
no subject
Come on. [Keith turned, headed for the kitchen.]
no subject
The salad happened once. Because of a pokemon.
no subject
[Oh, Keith was relatively familiar with how the fire started, but still. As they came into the kitchen, Keith took it upon himself to start gathering items to make said sandwiches instead of waiting.]
no subject
[UGH rude, bro.]
[Fine, he'll just make coffee. Another coffee.]
no subject
Fine, fine. You wanna make your own? Go for it.
[Keith wasn't going to stop him. But, he might give Shiro some berth...]
no subject
[Just to prove a point! A point that he is perfectly capable of making food without blowing the kitchen up.]
[... it's a big sandwich though, but hey. It works. No fires.]
no subject
You really gonna eat all that?
no subject
[Bro he's been asleep for a day and a half, at least. Come on now.]
no subject
[He shrugged. Sure. Go for it. Keith tended to wake up from comas and near comas a lot less ravenous and feeling more like his stomach would revolt if given too much food all at once, but to each their own, right?
He sat down at the table.]
What all did you put on that, anyway?
no subject
[Hang on, let him check.]
I think it's a fake bacon BLT. With... cheese. And boiled egg.
[And hummus. And cucumber. Sprouts. It's a mess, but it's a tasty mess.]
no subject
And other things...
[He shook his head a little, but in an amused way. He was used to Shiro's weird ideas by now. And, honestly, it probably wasn't actually a terrible thing to eat considering what was in it compared to what someone who was recovering from exhaustion might need.
But he still chuckled.]
You'll probably start feeling better after it, though... if your stomach handles it okay.
no subject
Space goo.
[And noms on the sandwich. Meaning, if the green jello goo didn't kill him, sandwichzilla won't. Hopefully.]
