So, I switched to breeder recently. Not because I want to make a living out of it. We have the band... It just seemed like it makes sense to cover all our bases, you know?
[No one asked for all this exposition, Min.
He seems to realise he's gone a little off-track (or never got there in the first place), and pauses for a moment to remind himself of the important part of this.]
Long story short, we have fourteen eggs. We think the moms are my Vulpix and my Azumarill, but the dads... We don't know about the dads. Which means we don't know for sure what they'll be or what their moves are.
I know our last eggs were hatched, but we really don't have time to hatch this many right now. If anyone wants to buy one, we can offer a refund if it turns out to be the dad's species and you don't want it.
[ooc: The full range of options are Alolan Vulpix, Azurill, and Piplup. For moves, etc... please head over here! You can claim IC, OOC, or both if you would like.]

Ah. I've been there before myself. [Coressa just quietly smirks by her trainer's side, she regrets absolutely nothing.] I know you'll be able to find good homes for all of--
[Wait... a few of those eggs are white with big blue spots.]
Are... those Piplup eggs?
Video
Min-Gi, meanwhile, freezes up. He sure hopes that's not what they are...]
No?
no subject
They could be. You said the fathers are unknown, and they look an awful lot like Fala's egg did.
[You know... her Empoleon? Like she might have recommended he pick up, once upon a time?]
no subject
If he were thinking more reasonably he might cut his losses and say he's caught one since they last talked about it.
As it is that option doesn't occur to him. Min-Gi jumps straight to denial.]
I don't have a Piplup...
no subject
[And because Min-Gi has always been completely honest with no ulterior motives...]
Then that must be one of the fathers. Are you all right, Min-Gi?
[Besides being flustered by surprised babies, because she's been there before.]

You’re a breeder now? I admit I’m a bit surprised, but I wish you success. And I may be interested in one or two eggs.
Video
Except, of course, he doesn't. It's only to provide a convenient cover for why a trainer's suddenly having so many larger than average clutches of eggs. He doesn't care about being a trainer or a breeder. He'd rather be left alone to play music.]
Only on paper. Ryan's a trainer, so if we need the discount he can still use his.
[The more important part of this is he may have a chance to find a new home for some of these eggs. At least whenever Bo is back from... wherever she currently is. He's managed to avoid caves so far.]
You could take one from each clutch if you wanted.
[They've been laid inconveniently close together, but he thinks he can more or less tell which egg comes from which mother at least.]
no subject
[She supposed that made sense. Because why not? She hadn’t really gotten a feeling he wanted to be a breeder but she barely knew him, so it’s easily shrugged off.
It’s then that a Wartortle pokes his head into the picture in the distance over Bo’s shoulder. He then starts waddling her direction and disappears again as he gets closer.]
Sure. I know about Vulpix, but I don’t know anything about Azu-
[A pair of ear tufts then appear at the bottom of the screen before slowly rising to show a purple cranium and then eyes, which narrow suspiciously.]
Paz, what are you doing?
no subject
[Min notes the Wartortle creeping gradually closer, but doesn't think too much of it until it comes right up to the camera to squint at him.
Something's off there, but the screen is small enough that especially with him having evolved the head mark isn't noticeable enough he's tipped off right away.]
Is he okay...?
no subject
Yes, he's fine.
[She thinks. Paz doesn't usually do this.]
He's just...
[And then a clawed purple arm shoots up in front of her face again, making a rude gesture.]
PAZ!

(Isabela has way too many Grass Pokémon (but can you blame her for wanting to grow her own Grass Mon army?) so she decides to get one Water Pokémon since she only has dopey Mariano at this time.
Bonus if she does have another typical starter Pokémon to be added in her rooster, just look at Amarantha the Floragato who is playing with her rose bud yoyo at the background with Olive the Smoliv.)
Video;
[Definitely not from his top secret Rocket team. It's just a very weird fluke, obviously.]

I thought that they’re pretty adorable and funny when they puff off their chests.

[In his fully evolved form North is still pretty sweet in nature, even if he's not as cute as he used to be. Min's kind of mad at him now, but he can't deny that.]
How does P500 sound? I probably shouldn't charge too much for them without knowing how good their moves are...
[That much is honest. He hasn't had time to sit down and work it out since Allura pointed out the offspring he's likely to find in the eggs.]

Action
But he let Min handle it on his own, for the most part. He's casually hanging out off camera in the general area while Min-Gi posts, playing with the tips of Vogue's ears. Vogue, who has done nothing wrong in his life ever and has absolutely nothing to do with this message, is purring and enjoying this lap time while he can, before Ryan's legs go numb.
To his credit, he waits until he simply cannot wait a second longer to be nosy about it.]
So...............how's it going? Did it go over well?
[He would look himself but he simply can't. Look at this large Purugly in his lap! How is he supposed to do anything else?]
no subject
He does look over when Ryan finally does cave and ask, appearing a little desperate. On the one hand there is interest and the eggs are selling, but on the other....]
Allura thinks some of them might be Piplup eggs.
no subject
Why? Just because they're blue? Aren't there like, a ton of blue pokémon?
[This isn't so much a judgement on Allura as a point to try and calm Min-Gi. He isn't an expert by any means, but he figures it would be kind of hard to tell, especially at a glance over video like this. There's like no way anyone can know for sure from just a message like this, right?]
no subject
[Maybe Ryan's right, but he's not so convinced. Allura had sounded so sure, and it's not like North wouldn't be a possibility.
Vogue is still kind of in the way of him hugging Ryan properly, but after some assessing Min flops down next to him. Or... close to him. He can't get as close as he'd like, but he can at least drape his arm around his shoulder.]
no subject
Unfortunately, this backfires because it's more uncomfortable for Ryan and he gives Vogue nudges until he hops down with an overdramatic yelp.]
What is with you today? Go play with Strut or something.
[Vogue pouts and lays on the floor directly in front of Ryan. He would lay on Ryan's feet, but Ryan has already taken the opportunity to pull his legs up so he can turn and drape them across Min's, pulling himself closer and wrapping his arms around him from the side.]
I mean, yeah, but...eggs are eggs? I mean, they could be piplup eggs. But we did a ton of traveling too, so who even knows? It could be like, some water type from somewhere...orrr are there Piplup in Kanto? Maybe we can say it was from a wild one, or something.

I'll take an egg if you still have some.
I still have eggs though. There should be Alolan Vulpix, Azurill, and Allura thinks there are Piplup eggs there?
no subject
Oh, I've always kind of wanted an Alolan Vulpix. They're so cute.
no subject
Fade was the first Pokémon I got here. [Or, you know, one of them.] She's probably one of the easiest I have to take care of.
[Hopefully her offspring will take after her in that sense, but it's hard to say until they hatch.]
no subject
Oh yeah? That's so cool. The ones I've seen all seem so sweet.
