So, I switched to breeder recently. Not because I want to make a living out of it. We have the band... It just seemed like it makes sense to cover all our bases, you know?

[No one asked for all this exposition, Min.

He seems to realise he's gone a little off-track (or never got there in the first place), and pauses for a moment to remind himself of the important part of this.]

Long story short, we have fourteen eggs. We think the moms are my Vulpix and my Azumarill, but the dads... We don't know about the dads. Which means we don't know for sure what they'll be or what their moves are.

I know our last eggs were hatched, but we really don't have time to hatch this many right now. If anyone wants to buy one, we can offer a refund if it turns out to be the dad's species and you don't want it.

[Ryan is probably a bad cat parent, because he doesn't seem to mind at all that he'll letting his attention go elsewhere. He's more than happy to give his attention to Min-Gi completely.]

Mm. Yeah, you'll have to. ...Eventually.

[Not now though, because Ryan isn't about to let him up to do that. If anything, he snuggles in even closer.]

[Not now. Min-Gi's more than happy to pull him in, wrapping his arms around him tight in case there was any doubt where he wanted him.]

[He presses a kiss to Ryan's hair, allowing himself to linger and enjoy the softness of it. Poor Vogue is forgotten for now, but at least Min's worries about the origins of the eggs are too.]

[From that angle Min might not be able to see Ryan's face, but he's beaming bright and leaning right into that embrace. There isn't any doubt in his heart, and he feels so loved in this tiny little moment. Physical attention (or any attention really) always makes him radiate happiness.]

[He doesn't have to see him. They've known each other their entire lives, and he can feel it in the way Ryan leans into him. They've always been affectionate with each other, and at least when they're alone (not counting their Pokémon, of course) that's only increased in recent months.

Min-Gi huffs a little laugh into his hair, giving him a squeeze.]

Someday? How long do you think I'm going to keep you here for?

[Ryan laughs too, though it has a playful air now.]

Preeeeetty sure I'm the one sitting on you here. Maybe I just won't get up!

[Maybe he'll just stay here forever and cuddle Min-Gi like a cat and never let him stand up again.]

Yeah? Or maybe I'll push you on the floor with Vogue...

[It's an empty threat, though Min does nudge him lightly, as though he might really shove him off. It might be more believable if he showed any sign of actually letting go of him.]

[Vogue meows at his name as if he's truly part of this conversation, but Ryan just clings even closer - as if he might have to hang on for some reason. Can't imagine why.]

Then maybe I just won't let you go and you'll fall down with me!

[Sorry, Vogue. Min-Gi barely even registers his input, too occupied with kissing Ryan behind his ear as he leans them both forward, bringing them perilously close to the edge of the couch.]

You sure you want to try me? I don't think those guitar muscles hold up so well anymore.

[The kiss tickles, but Ryan hangs on tight as Min tips him, trying to hold back his laughter.]

What?! My guitar muscles are stronger than ever!

[Is that a challenge? It might be!]

[Min-Gi snorts, at the very least pretending to be disbelieving.]

Prove it.

[Suddenly the threat isn't quite so empty anymore. Vogue should probably make himself scarce, because Min's letting go.

And staying on the couch. Maybe. Hopefully. They'll find out in a moment.]

[As Min lets go, Ryan does successfully dangle there...at first.

The problem is, it takes more than guitar muscles to hang on the way he's actually sitting. His legs aren't actually holding on at all so it's only a moment after Min lets go before gravity kicks in and Ryan's lower half slides almost all the way to the ground. Obviously it's not a loss if his butt hasn't hit the ground yet.

Vogue waits until the last possible second to get away, hopping up into the seat Ryan was in before all of this started since it's still warm.

However, Ryan is still holding onto Min-Gi up near his shoulders, at an angle that can't possibly be comfortable for either of them. Despite that--]

I could totally hang here all day. But I'm preeeeetty sure I see you leaning, dude.

[For a moment Min-Gi thinks he's won, but somehow Ryan manages to keep himself off the ground. It's not comfortable in the slightest, but he makes no move to give in. He stays smirking down at Ryan, ignoring the pull of Ryan's weight on his shoulders and the way his fingers dig in as best he can while Vogue watches them disapprovingly.]

No way, man. That's just your angle.

[Actually, he is leaning. A little. For someone he has to push to remember to eat sometimes Ryan is surprisingly heavy. Not that that's something he's going to let on. He can still hold him up, and that's the important part.]

[Ryan being deadweight is a special party trick that comes out when he's being deliberately obnoxious like this or when he's had too much to drink and needs to be carried back home.

That being said, he can't actually hang here forever. Eventually he'll lose his grip, someday. It's just a matter of who can last the longest.]

Gotta admit, it's a pretty good angle. Great view from down here.

[A classic Ryan tactic - try and fluster Min enough that he hopefully loses his balance. Vogue is watching all of this carefully, curly tail swishing and bouncing curiously.]

[It's a pretty reliable tactic. Min's getting better at turning their usual banter into flirting, but there's still a solid amount of times that he ends up short-circuiting.

Sometimes he can cover his fluster up by kissing him, but here that would guarantee losing. He laughs uncertainly, cheeks pink, and sure enough... losing another inch or so of seat.]
