OTA Video; Semi-Closed Log
[On this cold and icy day, most people would be smart enough to stay inside. But... not everyone unfortunately. Some are just too stubborn to let it stop them, and sometimes things happen as a result.
Anyone paying attention to the network will find an odd video of a Marowak peering into a camera with a Snom sitting on top of her head. She mutters to herself as she tries to get the thing working like she's seen her trainer do many times.
An Eevee can then be heard wailing in the background. Anyone who can understand Pokemon will hear it as: SHE'S DEAD! SHE'S DEAD!
The Marowak sighs and looks towards the source of the cry. SHE'S NOT DEAD. The Pokemon then sets the Pokegear down and walks away, leaving a view of a Lapras in the distance just sitting there in the snow and ice, watching all of the goings on.
The Marowak can be heard in the distance. See? She's not dead. The Eevee's cries die down to pathetic, worried whimpering. After a few moments the Marowak comes back and sets down a very familiar looking helmet for anyone who knows or has ever seen Bo-Katan. She taps the helmet with her bone club and looks into the camera imploringly. Um... help? Please?]
[Route 39]
Anyone who shows up will find that the sloping route is covered in treacherous ice, making it dangerous for whoever dares to venture out there. It wouldn't take much to figure out what happened here. A long trail of marks in the ice and snow of where someone covered in metal fell and slid for quite a distance is easily seen. Veering into a large boulder where Bo-Katan had bounced off of it and went on for another distance before careening into a ditch where a tree stopped her from going any farther. The Mandalorian half covered in snow that fell from the branches upon her impact.
All of the Pokemon she had with her are crowded around, including her Marowak who had done the video, an Eevee, an Alolan Vulpix, a Lapras, a Lampent, and the Snom that's now sitting on the Lapras. They're all looking very concerned, with the Eevee occasionally pawing at Bo's face, trying to wake her up. When someone gets close, the Vulpix runs out to meet them and lead them to where Bo-Katan actually is.
((OOC: Anyone that wants to can come out and check on Bo-Katan! Just know that its already been decided that Mando and his crew will be taking her somewhere and looking after her.))

[She also doesn't want to take the blame for doing something nice, so she delivers the communicator to Noodle and tells her her boyfriend's trainer is in trouble and she should probably tell one of the humans. Then Spicy toddles off to go lob fireballs at plant pokemon.]
[Noodle takes the communicator to Mando, babbling rapidly in Pokemon language and coiling around his neck, demanding attention.]
What? What's the problem?
[He takes the communicator and, after seeing the Pokemon and Bo's fallen form, springs into action.]
Noodle, you keep talking. Get them to tell you where they are. We've got a rescue mission here.

If one was to look at a map it should be easy to figure out they’re on route 39.
Please hurry! Bo needs help and she’s not sure how long she can keep the Eevee calm either.]
no subject
Noodle, ask if there are any fire Pokemon there. If there are, get them to build a fire. Make it as smoky as they can without setting the trees up.
[He'll be able to track the smoke pretty easily if it's rising above the treeline. Now it's out to use some warp pads to get to Johto as fast as he can.]
no subject
It’ll take a bit to gather wood but all the Pokemon there except the Lapras and the Snom are able to help with that. Eventually the Lampent gets a big fire going. Making sure to include a lot of pine needles to make more smoke.
Hopefully Mando doesn’t make himself sick using all those warp pads!]

All of which to say is that Riz is still looking a little green around the gills when Mando and Riz manage to make it there. He doesn't let that stop him from immediately going into action mode, snapping open his briefcase to pull out a first aid kit.]
I'll check her over.

Give him room, guys. C'mon, get out of the way.
[He gently shoos the Pokemon away.]
Can you go put out the fire now? Very good work with it, it led us right here.
no subject
Hey. Don't try and get up. What happened?
[Check if your patient is responsive. Check their pupils. Riz remembers that from his first aid classes. He kinda wishes he had one of those little lights to shine in her eyes, but unfortunately, all he has is a flash light, which is probably a bit too much. Better to skip that and try and judge her eyes by the sunlight.]

What happened? Where's Bo?
[Evie is very distressed. Ruby and Lupus come to the video to try to calm their son. If the Pokemon can communicate what happened, Cosmo can type it out for Radley to read.]

She moves the camera over to where the prone Mandalorian is. There’s vapor rising into the cold air, indicating she’s still breathing. But clearly she’s… well… out cold.
Hearing his parents, Burc’ya’s face appears with wobbly eyes. He’s so worried! He had been with her when she fell and they both slid a long ways down a hill before they ended up there and he let out all the other Pokemon. But she’s not moving!
no subject
Where are you?
[He can't come, but maybe he can send help.
Ruby nuzzles the screen, asking Burc'ya if he's alright and trying to reassure him Bo will be fine.
Evie tries to reassure him too. Radley was hurt a while back and didn't get up when the big worms came. But he's okay!]
no subject
Taakur gently nudges Burc’ya aside so she can tell Cosmo where they are without interruption. She tells her they’re still in Johto and left the ghost town a few days ago. They stopped at a farm yesterday and she can see the ocean in the distance. Does that help?]
no subject
Cosmo isn't sure. She frowns, typing out exactly what's said.]
... Ghost town? In Johto?
[Radley tries to think. Violet? There's rumors of Sprout Tower being haunted.... A farm could be that one up north....]
no subject
Burc’ya is just quietly whimpering in the background. A Lampent floats by, blinking at the other pokemon before helpfully informing them the humans call the town Ecruteak.]
no subject
I'll try to contact someone around there to come looking for you.
[There had to be someone ... surely....]
no subject
Taakur thanks him and Cosmo and hopes someone gets here soon.]

voice;
How can I assist?
[... he basically has a sled dog team let's be real.]

The Marowak then turns the camera to show Bo passed out in the snow under a tree, then turns to show the terrain around them. If Shadowmaru is familiar with it he might recognize it as Route 39.]
Action, Later at Saffron Apartment
These are all people Boober likes a great deal! But it's still a lot of people, and in the case of Bo specifically, the visit is not under good circumstances... Why do so many of the people he cares about insist on being brave instead of smart?
But in all truth, the day Bo is brought back to the apartment with a concussion on top of an injured hand and sprained ankle, only so much of Boober's mood is dedicated to tired, judgmental exasperation. First and foremost, he is also very concerned for her!
He is also, as he always gets, a little excited for a chance to go into doctor mode. Boober gives Bo a bit of time to settle, but no more than an hour goes by before he's brought a chair in from the kitchen and set it by the couch. There he takes a seat, first aid kit set on the floor nearby.]
Hi, Bo. Can you rate your pain for me? A scale of one to ten, and let me know if it's worse in some areas than others.
[Jumping right into it. And there are specific ways to tend to her injuries, and especially the concussion, but he wants an overall baseline first.]
no subject
Bo-Katan is miserable and she's not exactly hiding it very well. The arm with her good hand is draped over her face, finding it painful just having to endure the light. Certain sounds aren't pleasant for her either, but fortunately Boober's soft voice doesn't bother her. Whether someone helped her or not, she was out of her armor and just laid there in her flight suit. Not being very responsive until she answered Boober's question.]
An 8. It's worst in my head and hand. My foot isn't as bad.
no subject
[He gives a thoughtful hum and glances down at her foot.]
Some ice will be good for your ankle, though, and we can start that right away, alright?
no subject
Fine.
[She certainly sounds grumpy but she will acquiesce for now. Some tea sounded nice actually. And ice was probably a good idea. But it occurs to her that she has something that could help too.]
Bacta. I still have some.
[She pushes herself to sit up on her elbows and squints as she looks around the room. Where did they put her stuff?]
no subject
[Boober scowls, his face scrunching up in judgement as he crosses his arms over his chest.]
That's a good idea, but stop that. Lie back down, no sitting up at all.
[He may be just a short, chubby teenager, but his tone is strict. Not angry, just the voice of someone who has no intent of backing down.]
I'll ask the others where that ended up, once you settle in again.
no subject
How long do you think this is going to keep me down?
[She has things to do! Gym Leaders to stomp and all of that.]
no subject
[He has a feeling disclosing the exact amount of time would only encourage her to try and rush the healing process.]
That gives you a reason to stay with us for the holidays, though. That's nice, right?
[Discomfort with the crowded apartment aside, even Boober can't deny there's something pleasant about the timing to have everyone here.]
