I don't see why we shouldn't - despite the unusual creatures, this place seems relatively safe enough! We should be just fine.

...You know...where I'm from, it's common to use dogs to track scents in hunting. We may not be hunting, but if we had something one of the others was wearing that carries their scent...perhaps my new friend could try looking around?
