[This is one way to greet one of your only friends, Hans. He tentatively grabs the monster (eww it's really slimy) and tries to pull it off.]

[Seymour sets the Goomy down and ew ew, his hands are covered in slime now.]

I'm doing okay. This place is beautiful but I don't really know why we're here.

[He looks over his shoulder before leaning in.]

And this weird plant has been following me around and I don't know what it wants from me.

[Gently points at the Phantump.]

[ Thanks for taking one for team, Seymour. But anyway once it's free, it goes right back to climbing up Hans' leg. He'll just ignore it for now. ]

Yeah, I've never seen anything like this either.

[ Aw, you've for your own weird animal too, huh? Hans tilts his head, staring at the little ghost... thing. ]

Aw, it looks like it likes you. Maybe it's just... friendly?

He looks back over at the ghost. "Likes him" is a bit strong. The Phantump looks almost afraid that Seymour will bite its head off if it makes a wrong move.

You remember the last time I found a plant that was sentient? What if this guy is just like that plant?

[He says as if Hans was there, but you get what he means.]

[ It also, yeah, looks pretty scared. Hans waves at it, maybe he can spook it away? ]

[He's just going to look at that Goomy again. Wow that thing looks gross.]

[ I mean, what does Hans know about plants? His Goomy friend is climbing back up his leg. Seriously? He's gonna try and pry it off. Again. ]
