Has anyone seen someone named Jimmy around lately? Blond hair, and um|

He was riding on a big giant lizard when I first met him, but one of his pokemon ended up in my computer the other day without any messages attached to it, so I was wondering if he meant to send it to someone else or it was intentional. I haven't been able to get in contact with him since then, and the last time I saw him in person was in Goldenrod.

Its name is Bubblegum, and the pokegear said it was something called a Ditto. I was told that one is supposed to be a favorite of breeders, but that's all I really know so far.

Anyway, if anyone knows where he is or does see him, could you let him know that Bertolt is trying to get a hold of him?

*...oh, dear. Sion replies with video because text seems far too impersonal for this*

Usually, when that happens, it means that person has been returned to their own world.

It's doubtful. And damaged gear wouldn't cause pokemon to be suddenly sent to someone.

*other than people leaving, a person had to do so deliberately... which made the chances of error that much smaller*

Besides, even if a person's gear were damaged, I believe their ID would still be registered as existing.

I met him in Goldenrod, though I haven't seen him since. I'll keep an eye out.

[He hasn't really heard much about inheriting Pokemon... Whoops.]
purramedic: (eh)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-11-30 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Why? Aren't you friends? [He sort of got that impression, anyway.]
purramedic: (what)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-12-06 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well.

That is odd. What did you get, exactly?
purramedic: (um)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-12-08 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
They're the little purple blobs, right?
purramedic: (uhhhhh.... well)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-12-08 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps he just thought you could keep a better grip on them?
purramedic: (i can't think of a clever comment)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-12-08 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
[An angry ball named Blitz?!]

You're friends with Jean?
purramedic: (chill)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-12-08 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
We've spoken, yes. A couple of charmers, those two. [His sarcasm is affectionate, honest.]
purramedic: (kinda sweet)

[personal profile] purramedic 2016-12-08 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Then you're from the same world? Good. I'm glad you both have that.

I got one of his Pokemon as well. He's...probably been sent home. That's usually how it goes when this happens.

I suppose it's possible, but I've had this happen before. I'd been travelling with my brother, and one morning he was gone and some of his Pokemon had been sent to me by PC. And it's been the same with other people that went home as well.

It's hard to say. I once got Pokemon from someone I had never even met; this place doesn't always make sense in any regard.

I don't know. It's possible they go back to the wild, or maybe get transferred to trainers in other regions somehow.

I guess it's possible? I don't know how likely it is, though. I disappeared for a while myself, and of all the Pokemon that didn't go to people I knew the only one I've found again is my starter, Eddie. And it's not like I haven't been looking...

I think that means he went home.

That's... what that usually means, at least...

I don't know. He might be, but sometimes it's... easier to prepare as if they're not going to.

Oh no, Jimmy's gone home?

[Cause boy does that sound familiar.]

Have you tried contacting him over the network?
in4apounding: (why this)

[personal profile] in4apounding 2016-12-14 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
[And she can switch to text for the sake of being less awkward. And not looking sad all over the network yet again.]

Yes, I mean sending a message directly to his ID.

Did it

say something about his ID number not being active anymore

When you messaged him.
