Yeah, we should check for any more of those troublesome Pokémon and help out anyone in trouble.

(Félix soon hears cries of help with his highly sensitive ears that he alerts Isabela and co. that more people are in grave danger with several more robot Pokémon.)

What?!? There is more of them attacking the locals too? Oh dear, it looks like we’re in for a very long day of keeping those Pokémon from attacking more innocent lives in Olivine.

It sounds pretty cool. Do you have to have a license to ride one?

[It almost seemed like one should, when there were so many variables like that.]

[It will probably be exhausting, but it has to be done.]

[Evie calls encouragement too.]

[Henry will get a (careful) clap on the shoulder in commiseration, sighing.]

Yeah...I don't really like it down here either. I know the ways upstairs, but they're both over in all that mess.

[ Henry frowns because the moment he'd found that submachine gun, he'd felt so much safer in the Otherworld. But if Envy says they're bulletproof, well... ]

[ Is he going to see more homunculuses? Homunculi? So far, Envy, Lust, and Wrath are the only ones he's known. His worries are momentarily interrupted by an age old in-joke and he actually fights a loud, incredulous SNORT.]

Ha! Yeah, exactly. If I'm not me I'll give you a look like... [he takes a second to put on an annoyed and baffled expression, to demonstrate, letting it drop into a snicker.]

Once we figure out what's going on, if anyone's got guns I can sneak over and try to steal one for you. Some of it sounds like soldiers marching, they might have something.

Just. If you do need to use it on a homunculus and they actually die? It won't be for long, just a few seconds, so get out of there while you've got the chance.

[Hhhhgh, Henry may be an experienced monster fighter, but Gluttony is a few steep levels above a possessed wheelchair or even those big meaty things Heather had...and they're about to wade into some kind of unknown chaos. He catches sight of a wrought iron fence, one of the fancy ones with the spikes on top. A thought occurs to him. He makes a quick turn towards said fence.]

Actually...there's something that might work better, just in case.

[ Henry puts his listening ears on and nods along as Envy explains. He does crack a small grin at Envy's Not Envy face, but he quickly puts it away in favor of learning how to not die very badly. ]

[ Like all his fellow horror protagonist friends, Henry shoots first and stomps second. Memories of digging his heel into dog skulls cloud his thoughts but quickly dissipate in favor of watching Envy take notice of...an old fence? ??? ]

Mmm... [Jotaro gives a small nod.] You don't come off as a wizard. I would have never guessed.

[Jotaro glances around.]

How does it feel being back? I mean, I know it's not the same but still. Nostalgic?

Maybe it is because I don’t usually have a pointy hat and old fashioned robes all day long.

Yeah a bit of nostalgic. It does feel both familiar and strange. As odd as it is for me to see people in this world dressed like, well, that, at least I could see a version of it again. I haven’t set foot on there in over two years.

Not at all. We’re usually taught that early on in school, though I did rode on a toy broom as a baby. In fact, I might have gotten that skill from my dad without even knowing it back then until I was 11.

The only magic licenses I know of in my world involve animal transformation and Apparition, but those are two entirely different things from riding on a broom.

(Félix flies off to show where he has heard the cries from, so Isabela runs to catch up with him and the others also swiftly go after to see what is going on.

Carmen is the first to see the unfolding crisis when the group reaches the area and she is annoyed to see so many people being mercilessly attacked from various directions by weird yet aggressive robot Pokémon. This is looking pretty bad already.)

Oh no! This is really horrible. We need to get our teams to stop these Pokémon before it gets much worse.

Roselia, Lia! Rose-Lia!

(Matcha and Cappy didn’t think twice after that has been spoken as they begin to stalk the aggressive Pokémon and begin attacking first followed by Esmeralda throwing multiple kicks at them relentlessly.)

Wow. That's pretty surprising. I guess it's a lot more convenient, though, to not have to worry about licenses.

What's Apparition?

[That makes him think of ghosts.]

Evie's the only one with me. I wish I could get some of the others to come help too.

[He doesn't like battling, but it's clearly needed now. With such an immediate crisis, though, is there time to run to the Pokemon Center to get more?

Evie springs into action and fights to protect with all her might. "Eevee-vee!"]

I did also wish that I have my other Pokémon with me as well. It would be great to have some back up too in the event the ones I have with me get tired or get knocked out.

Tsa-Reena!!!

(One of the Robot Pokémon tries to lunge itself at Esmeralda but the Tsareena dodges the attack in a fast pace before she reciprocates back with a Trop Kick to the face.

Matcha meanwhile uses their powder to drain bits of energy from several of the attacking Pokémon while Cappy sets some more on fire with flame breath from his two heads. He also laughs at them as they try to get the fire off of them and not getting it out on time, all getting a Burn status effect.)

That is how we call our version of teleporation back at home. We use it to get from one place to another without having to travel the space between them. You achieve this by focusing on a desired location in your mind and then purposely disappearing from where you were originally to reappear at the location of your choice. It is a more advance skill for us wizards but other species like houseleves and Phoenixes are capable of doing something to it at their own will.

It used to be a popular way to get to places but nobody in my world these days wants to go through it and would stick to other things like brooms instead. Using it is like being forced into a tight rubber tube and you might lose your lunch when you use it for the first time. The last one was what my old headmaster told me some time ago.

... I was gonna say that sounds pretty cool, but on second thought, I'd rather ride a broom too. It sounds like a pretty miserable trip.

[Evie uses Swift a lot, and sometimes Pay Day. Radley smirks as the coins bonk the robots. He moves to pick them up when those battles are won.

The people are relieved as the robots are fought and are gradually beaten back. They profusely thank Radley and Isabella and their Pokemon.

"Vee!" says Evie, happily.]

Yeah I could say the same thing too. I would rather stick to flying on a broom than feeling nauseous after apparating to my selected destination.

Yeah, we get enough of that here if we use the machines in the Pokemon Center too fast.

[Sometimes he waits longer than he probably needs to between warps, just to hopefully keep it from happening.]

Wow! They managed to get the robots knocked out in no time. That is pretty amazing, guys.

(The Pokémon are happy to hear the praise as the people thank them all for the help. Isabela gladly appreciates them as she gets to gather her Pokémon after they finished tackling the robot Pokémon.)

Yeah, all of you did great!

[Evie beams and warbles at the praise.

Radley also smiles and accepts thanks from the people. There's no doubt more battles to come, and others may not be as easy.]

_{[You know, sometimes Heather really hates being right. The second that stupid news broadcast with the Silph guys went up, she knew it was going to go to hell.]

[Falling through her own coffee mug and into a different world is new, though.]

[The place she ended up in has exactly one thing going for it, and that's that it's NOT rural Maine. Which is something to be grateful for, but Heather isn't feeling particularly grateful.]

[Because in addition to being who-knows-where with no immediately obvious way out, she is also covered in hot coffee.]

[A gargled screech of pain echoes through the empty streets.]}

[Envy's about a block away when he hears it. This particular screech is both closer than all the other ones he's been hearing...and also very familiar oh NO.]

[He's ready for a fight when he starts booking it as fast as he can in the shout's direction, whether against a soldier(?), or another homunculus, or WHATEVER it is this projection cooked up which clearly is already fighting Heather.]

[...or not. He skids around the nearest corner and realizes that she's actually alone. Unless Sloth has suddenly started turning into coffee instead of water here, there's nobody TO fight. He still heads for her at a jog.]

[Envy gets to the fence and reaches to grab one of the bars and bend it down, snapping off a decent length bit of it. With the spike on the top, it should be a good enough one handed stabbing weapon.]

So, this is a big secret. You see these things?

[He reaches over his shoulder with his free hand and points at one of the red nodes there.]

We've all got them on us somewhere. If you can hit one with this and leave it in, it'll stop a homunculus from moving very well and really hurt. You'd have more time to get away then, too.

[Wisdom for the Receiver! Best friends get trusted with the secret weak spot. He heads back over to Henry to hand over the spike.]
