The hills are alive with the sound of… sneezing?

It’s almost a week into January, and trainers may have started to get nervous about the lack of Snorunts. Whether you’re excited to see them, or just want the metaphorical bomb to drop and be over with - the wait is finally done. Snorunts have started to make their way into town.

But instead of fortunes, what they have to give right now is coughs, bleary eyes, and sad little flops sideways into the snow. They’re not alone, either: every once in a while you’ll see an equally sick Glalie or Froslass. (Be careful - a sneezing Glalie is basically a wrecking ball waiting to happen, prone to launching itself backward! And if you’ve been struck by an odd spurt of bad luck, maybe you’ll be right in the way when it does…)

In cities across Johto and Kanto, and in field camps in between, Nurse Joys are scrambling to treat the miserable Ice Pokemon. But they’re direly in need of more helping hands. Will you pitch in?

[He nods towards the bundle of meds. If this is comparatively fine, he's kind of worried about how the more isolated areas must be faring.]

Your delivery's still looking kind of scarce.

[Doppio smiles. Is that what Min-Gi means?]

Corvo's taking care of the rest of it, don't worry. I bet he'll be back soon.

[Corvo, Doppio's shiny Honchkrow that he uses exclusively for Team Rocket business. Min might remember him.]

[Min remembers him, but likely isn't involved enough to realize that's Corvo's exclusive role. Which might actually work out in both of their favours since he accepts that with an easy nod.]

Has he been okay? A lot of the Pokémon who've been helping me out have been getting sick. Not as bad as the Snorunts, but...

[It's still not an ideal situation.]

Um, sure. He hasn't really gone near the Snorunts, as far as I can tell...

[Sweet of Min-Gi to ask, though! What a nice guy.]

[Two nice guys who are both helping Snorunts from the goodness of their hearts. Neither of them with any ulterior motives at all!

(No one tell the Snorunts that Ryan's Froslass is not an insignificant part of why he's been trying so hard and it isn't entirely selfless.)]

Be careful even if he doesn't go near them. I'm pretty sure at least some of ours didn't get it from the Snorunts.

Yeesh, it's going around that badly?

[Well, damn. Good thing he's only giving Team Rocket a tiny fraction of the supplies, really. There should be more than enough for everyone else, so it's fine. It's fiiine.]

Alright then, I'll keep an eye out!

Yeah. Like... it's way worse for the Snorunts who get it, but it's still pretty rough.

[And wouldn't it be terrible for Corvo to get sick when he's working so hard?]

Geez... It's really weird though, isn't it? I mean, I've never seen them get sick like this.

[It can't be the cold, surely. They LIVE in the cold.]

Me neither. I know Pokémon get sick sometimes, but I've never seen so many at once get as bad as this.

[It's pretty scary to see the scale of it. He can only hope they get it under control before it starts affecting other Pokémon as badly.]

Scary... But as long as it's a one-off thing, it'll turn out fine, right?

I hope so. Just make sure your team are looking out for themselves. If one gets sick...

[Then at least in his experience it's almost impossible to avoid the others getting sick too.]
