save our snorunts event log
Who: Everyone!
When: January 2-26
Where: Practically everywhere. Maybe not the volcano on Cinnabar Island.
What: Save those Snorunts!
OOC Info: here!
The hills are alive with the sound of… sneezing?
It’s almost a week into January, and trainers may have started to get nervous about the lack of Snorunts. Whether you’re excited to see them, or just want the metaphorical bomb to drop and be over with - the wait is finally done. Snorunts have started to make their way into town.
But instead of fortunes, what they have to give right now is coughs, bleary eyes, and sad little flops sideways into the snow. They’re not alone, either: every once in a while you’ll see an equally sick Glalie or Froslass. (Be careful - a sneezing Glalie is basically a wrecking ball waiting to happen, prone to launching itself backward! And if you’ve been struck by an odd spurt of bad luck, maybe you’ll be right in the way when it does…)
In cities across Johto and Kanto, and in field camps in between, Nurse Joys are scrambling to treat the miserable Ice Pokemon. But they’re direly in need of more helping hands. Will you pitch in?

(As much as she finds it difficult to believe given how surprisingly resilient she is on the ice in spite of those slips, she doesn’t want to risk letting any wounds and injuries to linger on that it could pose a danger to her health. So she is making her way towards the clinic for that all important check up.)

[Radley waves.]
We'll see you later!
["Eevee!" Evie calls.]

(Isabela manages to get to the clinic as soon as she is let in. The check up didn’t have that many people lining up so the lines are a little faster than she had anticipated.
After a few minutes has passed, she finally exits the clinic and returns to Radley and Evie. Luckily the scratches she had gotten were not that bad although the Nurse Joy in the clinic has stated that she needs to be more careful with walking on the ice next time and cleans up her wounds.)
Well, the check up was a lot quicker than I thought it would be. By some miracle, my injuries weren’t so bad although I think that the clinic Nurse Joy did told me to be more careful next time when crossing on iced bodies of water.

That's great to hear. We're glad you're okay.
["Eevee-vee!" Evie chirps.]
So what are you gonna do now?

Outside of staying out of icy places for the time being, I would be up for some warm drinks and perhaps a snack right now. All that sledge hauling can take a lot of energy out of anybody.

[He smiles.
"Eevee-vee!" Evie cheers.]

The property soon comes into view. Other Pokemon are in the yard and call happily to them.
