save our snorunts event log
Who: Everyone!
When: January 2-26
Where: Practically everywhere. Maybe not the volcano on Cinnabar Island.
What: Save those Snorunts!
OOC Info: here!
The hills are alive with the sound of… sneezing?
It’s almost a week into January, and trainers may have started to get nervous about the lack of Snorunts. Whether you’re excited to see them, or just want the metaphorical bomb to drop and be over with - the wait is finally done. Snorunts have started to make their way into town.
But instead of fortunes, what they have to give right now is coughs, bleary eyes, and sad little flops sideways into the snow. They’re not alone, either: every once in a while you’ll see an equally sick Glalie or Froslass. (Be careful - a sneezing Glalie is basically a wrecking ball waiting to happen, prone to launching itself backward! And if you’ve been struck by an odd spurt of bad luck, maybe you’ll be right in the way when it does…)
In cities across Johto and Kanto, and in field camps in between, Nurse Joys are scrambling to treat the miserable Ice Pokemon. But they’re direly in need of more helping hands. Will you pitch in?

Once the crew found a table, Little Red had claimed a spot, and then looked expectantly at Keith. The humans had opposable thumbs, after all. They had to get the food!
Well, half-human... or human in this reality... or whatever... as a Pokémon, Red wasn't really concerned.
"Right..." Keith reached over and gave the Torracat a quick rub on the top of his head. "You keep the table, we'll get the food."

Primdes didn't climb into a chair, but bounced expectantly next to the chair that Ulaz was taking. Okay, food time!
Ulaz nodded. "You can keep watch as well, Primdes."
The Glaceon trilled and then put his feet up on the chair almost as if he wanted to sit. It was like he was a person!
Ulaz would then head back in the direction of the food.

He picked a few things that looked interesting and potentially tasty. Everything was, of course, Pokémon themed, and some stuff looked cute as people attempted to make it nicer, but most of it was pretty plain. He loaded up the tray, sticking with warm foods, a soup, and a hot beverage.
He thanked the food volunteers, and then headed back to the table, waiting long enough to walk with Ulaz.

After thanking the volunteers, he headed over to where Keith was waiting so they could walk back over.
"Interesting that they have made the food for those assisting being themed."
Not that he didn't appreciate it, just that it was not something he would have ever thought that he would see.

"I think some of the people volunteering are from the local restaurant. Maybe they donated stuff," he offered up.

Then again, food was very much a necessity and not a luxury still. He was enjoying it more here, but it was hard to get rid of that thought.

He picked up his fork.
"Was it similar on Earth?"
