Touring about Goldenrod City oh boy! (OTA)
Who: Cali and whoever she runs into :D
What: Enjoying her time in Goldenrod City before travel to Ecruteak City begins with Loop (and maybe catching a Stufful if Cali is lucky enough)
When: Backdated to May 10th to May 16th
Where: Goldenrod City :3
I would like to reach out with my hand (May 10th to the 13th at the Pokemon Center)
Cali is back to work at the Pokemon Center as a medical assistant! April Tenth and the Eleventh had been relatively calm days save for the disgruntled Pikachu with electrical build up going on (He got a bit that one does holy moly). The Twelfth though, that’s when poo hits the fan when the JUMPLUFFS arrived. The Pokemon Center is overrun with pokemon dealing with the worst case of allergies imaginable, attacks and abilities going haywire in the center. Cali and Battenberg certainly are having a time of things with the allergy cases. Good news (or bad if you’re not a fan of high energy), Cali is still as upbeat as ever as she goes to cheerily greet whoever is waiting in line.
“Hi, how may I help you out today?”
(Be sure to mention if you want allergies or the biting Pikachu)
I may see you, I may tell you to run (May 14 in National Park)
It was supposed to be a nice little walk in the National Park, especially since Sweet Sixteen had been mostly a sulking old man lately. But alas..JUMPLUFF happened and turns out, the salty Appletun has seasonal allergies. There came the low hums, something akin to a wasp, as the area smelled of fresh baked apple pie from Sweet Scent. Both Cali and Sweet Sixteen froze for a moment as they looked behind to see not one, not two, but three Beedrill coming out of the woodworks. Without having to take a second thought, Cali picks up Sweet Sixteen, holding him like a football, before booking it with three very hungry Beedrill following along.
The wind is picking up and the smell of fresh baked apple pie is strong, oh hey…I think I hear running…now who would be running on a day like this?
“Holy smokes, RUN!”
You know what they say about the young (May 15th Touring Goldenrod City)
It didn’t matter if it was insanely rainy out, Cali is determined to have a bit of fun out in Goldenrod City now that she has some time to enjoy the fun parts of it! Armed with a rain poncho covered in cartoony looking Bellossoms dotting its surface, a grumpy old apple dragon, a nervous Buneary, and high energy, Cali goes to check out the attractions in Goldenrod City like the highly questionable Game Corner, Sports Stadium, and The Radio Station! Boy golly Cali, you sure picked a pretty poor time to go touring in the rain!

At last, the final day in Goldenrod City has arrived and of course, it’s gonna be celebrated with a nice dinner out with the team! Downside, it's nighttime and this is Goldenrod City as Cali, in her rain poncho, goes to navigate with her two pokemon on where the diner is exactly. It’s been a while since she last chatted with the owner back at the Pokemon Contest as Sweet Sixteen grumbles in frustration over it. Chantilly could only look at Sweet Sixteen in shock over the language he was using over the situation, covering her ears a bit. Be it wise or unwise, much to Sweet Sixteen’s horror, Cali decided it was a fine idea to ask someone for a bit of hand.
“Sorry to bother, but do you know where the Eevee Diner is?”

"We had a number of hotels back home. I stayed at one named the Starley Hotel. Name spelled with L-E-Y but I thought of it when I saw the Pokemon. I would imagine. Even in the best of situations, that would be a difficult undertaking. She is. I will admit that I didn't know this until recently. I have a lot of sisters and many of them had already moved out when I was still young so I didn't remember much about them, I'm sad to say, but I was trying to make sure I remedied that before I came here."
"There probably is a word for it. I'm not sure what it would be either. We'll have to see if we can figure out what it is sometime. Once the hotel is open, I will let you know so you can come and visit."

“I love a good ol’ fashioned pun like that, it adds a really lovely charm to a location. It really would be an undertaking though at home, all our resources go towards modifying our buildings once in a while due to wear and tear. So new buildings aren’t something we’re too keen on just yet, we want to make sure our homes are staying up to standards first. The big hospital we have is considered the newest by at least ninety years. I’m sorry to hear about your sisters though, that couldn’t be fun growing up without being able to know them better. I grew up as an only child back home, though I wished I had siblings, they look like a lot of fun to hang out with.”
“I think so too, I’m sure the word will come to either one of us later. It is for sure being pretty illusive at the moment.” Cali was gonna be pondering what that mysterious word would be for the moment.

"It does. I try not to take things too seriously if I can. There is a lot of beauty in this world and a lot of whimsy too if you are willing to look for it. So even if only a few people know the reference to the Starley Hotel back home, it will still be something that is a good story to tell."
He nodded. "It definitely makes sense making sure your buildings are up to code to make sure they are safe. But ninety years... that's a long time."
"The sisters I could spend time with it, it was a lot of fun. They liked having a younger brother. Pretty much all of them had moved out by the time I was ten though."
He smiled. "It certainly is. Hopefully that word will come to us soon."

"Right? Sometimes having whimsy and fun really brightens the world a bit more, plus fun stories are the best ones to tell."
Cali nods as she has to agree, "Yeah, all our resources go into refurbishing and updating the interior panels with volcanic bricks every few decades at home. We still need to fix the exterior metal panels though, they've seen better days."
"It really has been a long time, but a lot of folks had to fight to get that one made in the first place. Your sisters sound amazing to be around, I only had my anatomical mini model growing up to play with along with my Moms."
"I'll have my fingers and toes crossed that the word will come to either of use soon." Cali chirped merrily .
