Touring about Goldenrod City oh boy! (OTA)
Who: Cali and whoever she runs into :D
What: Enjoying her time in Goldenrod City before travel to Ecruteak City begins with Loop (and maybe catching a Stufful if Cali is lucky enough)
When: Backdated to May 10th to May 16th
Where: Goldenrod City :3
I would like to reach out with my hand (May 10th to the 13th at the Pokemon Center)
Cali is back to work at the Pokemon Center as a medical assistant! April Tenth and the Eleventh had been relatively calm days save for the disgruntled Pikachu with electrical build up going on (He got a bit that one does holy moly). The Twelfth though, that’s when poo hits the fan when the JUMPLUFFS arrived. The Pokemon Center is overrun with pokemon dealing with the worst case of allergies imaginable, attacks and abilities going haywire in the center. Cali and Battenberg certainly are having a time of things with the allergy cases. Good news (or bad if you’re not a fan of high energy), Cali is still as upbeat as ever as she goes to cheerily greet whoever is waiting in line.
“Hi, how may I help you out today?”
(Be sure to mention if you want allergies or the biting Pikachu)
I may see you, I may tell you to run (May 14 in National Park)
It was supposed to be a nice little walk in the National Park, especially since Sweet Sixteen had been mostly a sulking old man lately. But alas..JUMPLUFF happened and turns out, the salty Appletun has seasonal allergies. There came the low hums, something akin to a wasp, as the area smelled of fresh baked apple pie from Sweet Scent. Both Cali and Sweet Sixteen froze for a moment as they looked behind to see not one, not two, but three Beedrill coming out of the woodworks. Without having to take a second thought, Cali picks up Sweet Sixteen, holding him like a football, before booking it with three very hungry Beedrill following along.
The wind is picking up and the smell of fresh baked apple pie is strong, oh hey…I think I hear running…now who would be running on a day like this?
“Holy smokes, RUN!”
You know what they say about the young (May 15th Touring Goldenrod City)
It didn’t matter if it was insanely rainy out, Cali is determined to have a bit of fun out in Goldenrod City now that she has some time to enjoy the fun parts of it! Armed with a rain poncho covered in cartoony looking Bellossoms dotting its surface, a grumpy old apple dragon, a nervous Buneary, and high energy, Cali goes to check out the attractions in Goldenrod City like the highly questionable Game Corner, Sports Stadium, and The Radio Station! Boy golly Cali, you sure picked a pretty poor time to go touring in the rain!
Send me on my way, on my way (May 16th Going out to Eat)
At last, the final day in Goldenrod City has arrived and of course, it’s gonna be celebrated with a nice dinner out with the team! Downside, it's nighttime and this is Goldenrod City as Cali, in her rain poncho, goes to navigate with her two pokemon on where the diner is exactly. It’s been a while since she last chatted with the owner back at the Pokemon Contest as Sweet Sixteen grumbles in frustration over it. Chantilly could only look at Sweet Sixteen in shock over the language he was using over the situation, covering her ears a bit. Be it wise or unwise, much to Sweet Sixteen’s horror, Cali decided it was a fine idea to ask someone for a bit of hand.
“Sorry to bother, but do you know where the Eevee Diner is?”
WILDCARD! (Please feel free to toss in something else you’d like to do or even PM/Plurk me at Dolly_Mancer to brainstorm an idea :’>)

Pokemon Center
He sees Cali working at the front and gives her a little wave. "Looks busy today."
Re: Pokemon Center
Battenberg offers a gentle greeting as she waves to Henry and Cherrio, it's clear that she's been having a field day with the Pokemon Center patients suffering from allergies. Them Jumpluffs be something else entirely.

Henry makes his way behind the counter and clocks in.
"I hope allergies is all there is to it...sometimes when something happens like this, there's some weirdness that comes with it."
no subject
Cali goes to considering how to convince her two Pokemon that the PokeBalls are perfectly safe to be inside of when she hears the weirdness part and remembers what Radley had told her about the weird weekends.
"Oh my, do you think it might be one of those weird weekends? I heard about it a while ago back at the Pokemon Contest."
no subject
"Maybe...my roommates usually become undead. I'd have to message Envy and see if he still has a pulse."
no subject
"Could you send me a text if there is no pulse though? I used to be a plague carrier back where I came from, so I rather not accidentally get someone ill." Cali goes to explain, though leaving out the LSD like effect the virus had.
Send Me On My Way
It's a pleasant property with the cafe out front and a house to the left side of it in the back and a fence all the way around both and the lovely yard. Most of the Pokemon are inside and some Eevees are looking out the windows of the cafe. In the yard, two Magikarp are jumping in a pond.
The Eevees start calling out happily when Cali approaches. Hearing their exclamations, Radley comes out from the kitchen and opens the door.
"Hey," he smiles. "Come on in!"

Sweet Sixteen, on the other hand, looked like a soggy apple pie in his little 'Delphoxy Grandpa' hat. The atmosphere of the diner was amazing in Cali's eyes as she cheerily responds.
"Thank you, I can't tell yah how wild the Pokemon Center was due to the Jumpluffs earlier."

The Eevees are jumping up and down excitedly, all warbling.
["Do you like the city?" Isla asks.]

Chantilly goes to chatting with them excitedly.
["It's so awesome here! Sure the surprise jungle was weird, but we made a friend with Darwin!" Chantilly excitedly said as she shared the information.]
no subject
["You found a new friend?" Evie exclaims. "We did too!" She indicates an Eevee wearing a leaf skirt and a flower on her head.]
no subject
["Oh man that's awesome! Hi hi!" Chantilly waves hello to the new Eevee in the leaf skirt with the flower accessory. "I wonder if your new friend knows Darwin too? He's still adjusting to modern times."]
no subject
["Hi!" says the new Eevee. "I'm Lilo. Who's Darwin?"]

You know what they say about the young
So as he was walking in the rain, his Espurr Gigi toddled after him, clinging to his leg so that she could stay under his umbrella and raincoat. She didn't like the rain.
Omari however... the Flamigo was running ahead of him, enjoying the rain. And not paying attention where he was going, nearly running into Cali and her Pokemon.
"Omari!"
At the last moment, the Flamigo jumped away, stopping some distance between Cali and Quatre.
"I'm so sorry about that," Quatre said, jogging closer. Gigi squeaked at him, chasing after him as fast as her little legs would go. Get back here, hooman with the umbrella! "He has the bad habit of not paying attention."
Re: You know what they say about the young
"It's all chill here, your Flamigo was just enjoying the rainy weather is all. It's the same with my Archen, Darwin at the moment with shopping." Cali cheerily said, for rainy days, Call is an absurdly sunny person during this whole weather system.
Chantilly goes to watch the squeaking Gigi come closer, poor Espurr getting wet in the rain!
no subject
Speaking of paying attention, he finally heard Gigi squeaking angrily at him as she chased him down.
"Oh, Gigi, I'm sorry!" And he would scoop her up and hold her close.
Just for that, she was going to shake the water from her fluff out on him. ... Fair enough.
"I'm glad it is not an issue. But we will work on paying better attention in the future, even if it is raining. My name is Quatre Raberba Winner and these are Omari and Gigi."
Gigi is still actively drying her fur and getting him slightly wetter as she does.
no subject
Chantilly, having been riding in Cali's rain poncho offers a cute hello while Sweet Sixteen continued his soggy grumpy grandpa vibes as he offers a low grumble.
"I'm touring about Goldenrod today to enjoy some of the sights before heading off to Ecruteak City, though debating just where to visit first." Cali gets her sticker riddled PokeGear out with the map on it...it's like incredibly bedazzled with stickers of the scented variety.
no subject
Omari offered a greeting and Gigi, finally either distracted or dry enough for the moment, squeaked a hello to both of them. Quatre might have to grab a towel from somewhere so she could finish drying off.
"Oh, what places were you thinking of seeing? Maybe I could offer some suggestions. We have been here for a while now trying to get a business set up."
Quatre was a born workaholic. Come to a place where he could do literally anything, and he chose to try starting a business.
no subject
Chantilly was shy at first before offering a proper and happy greeting to Gigi, she really felt bad that she got wet from the rain.
"I'm thinking about checking out the Radio Tower and maybe see the Game Corner I've been hearing about." Cali explained excitedly as she showed the map, "Oh man that's super awesome you're getting a business set up here. I'm gonna be exploring a bit more first to get a better feel for the area before opening up my own clinic."
Cali beamed happily behind her mask, she has no clue what a workaholic was like at all...
no subject
"Omari," Quatre said to reign his Flamigo back in. He loved Omari, had loved flamingos back home as well, but he was a little to curious and oblivious sometimes for his own good.
Omari at least listened and moved closer back with Quatre.
Gigi squeaked in reply to Chantilly. It was okay, she had wanted to come but underestimated the rain. At least she got to be carried now.
Quatre leaned in to look at the map when she showed it to him. "The Radio Tower is nice. I have been there a few times. I've also been to the Game Corner too. A lot of people like it." He wasn't really one of them, but he didn't play those sorts of games and he wouldn't discourage those who might enjoy it. "Thank you. It's a hotel, still in progress. The name is based on the name of a hotel from my world. That's so nice, setting up a clinic. Is it one for Pokemon?"
no subject
There was a smug little puff from Sweet Sixteen, he was getting left alone now in his soggy pie looking appearance thanks to the rain. Chantilly was relieved to hear that as she responded back how she liked being carried too as she cuddles under Cali's fluffed up hair.
"I'd like to do the Radio Tower then, it sounds like a lovely place to visit if you'd like to come along?" Cali offered merrily as she lets Quatre look over the map, "I'm thinking of opening one for both humans and Pokemon alike, back home I was a doctor before arriving here. Holy smokes that's super awesome you're opening up a Hotel. They're just so much fun to be in."
