Touring about Goldenrod City oh boy! (OTA)

What: Enjoying her time in Goldenrod City before travel to Ecruteak City begins with Loop (and maybe catching a Stufful if Cali is lucky enough)

Cali is back to work at the Pokemon Center as a medical assistant! April Tenth and the Eleventh had been relatively calm days save for the disgruntled Pikachu with electrical build up going on (He got a bit that one does holy moly). The Twelfth though, that’s when poo hits the fan when the JUMPLUFFS arrived. The Pokemon Center is overrun with pokemon dealing with the worst case of allergies imaginable, attacks and abilities going haywire in the center. Cali and Battenberg certainly are having a time of things with the allergy cases. Good news (or bad if you’re not a fan of high energy), Cali is still as upbeat as ever as she goes to cheerily greet whoever is waiting in line.

“Hi, how may I help you out today?”

I may see you, I may tell you to run (May 14 in National Park)

It was supposed to be a nice little walk in the National Park, especially since Sweet Sixteen had been mostly a sulking old man lately. But alas..JUMPLUFF happened and turns out, the salty Appletun has seasonal allergies. There came the low hums, something akin to a wasp, as the area smelled of fresh baked apple pie from Sweet Scent. Both Cali and Sweet Sixteen froze for a moment as they looked behind to see not one, not two, but three Beedrill coming out of the woodworks. Without having to take a second thought, Cali picks up Sweet Sixteen, holding him like a football, before booking it with three very hungry Beedrill following along.

The wind is picking up and the smell of fresh baked apple pie is strong, oh hey…I think I hear running…now who would be running on a day like this?

“Holy smokes, RUN!”

You know what they say about the young (May 15th Touring Goldenrod City)

It didn’t matter if it was insanely rainy out, Cali is determined to have a bit of fun out in Goldenrod City now that she has some time to enjoy the fun parts of it! Armed with a rain poncho covered in cartoony looking Bellossoms dotting its surface, a grumpy old apple dragon, a nervous Buneary, and high energy, Cali goes to check out the attractions in Goldenrod City like the highly questionable Game Corner, Sports Stadium, and The Radio Station! Boy golly Cali, you sure picked a pretty poor time to go touring in the rain!

Send me on my way, on my way (May 16th Going out to Eat)

At last, the final day in Goldenrod City has arrived and of course, it’s gonna be celebrated with a nice dinner out with the team! Downside, it's nighttime and this is Goldenrod City as Cali, in her rain poncho, goes to navigate with her two pokemon on where the diner is exactly. It’s been a while since she last chatted with the owner back at the Pokemon Contest as Sweet Sixteen grumbles in frustration over it. Chantilly could only look at Sweet Sixteen in shock over the language he was using over the situation, covering her ears a bit. Be it wise or unwise, much to Sweet Sixteen’s horror, Cali decided it was a fine idea to ask someone for a bit of hand.

“Sorry to bother, but do you know where the Eevee Diner is?”

"Yeah, unfortunately," Radley said. "He probably doesn't mind, though."

["Pastel is pretty too!" Evie agrees. "I love pastel blue, and pink, and yellow ... !"]

"Yeah, I think he much rather be cuddled up by a warm fire." Cali said as Sweet Sixteen perked up positively to that one, he would like a cozy fire to be cuddled up by.

["Right? It's like the best, I love the mint green myself." Chantilly was giddy and excited for a possible fur dying.]

Radley chuckled. "Well, we have one of those for cold days."

["Oooh! Yeah, the green too! Like ice cream!" Evie squeals, jumping up and down.]

Cali smiles brightly, "That's awesome, we'll be having campfires soon tomorrow night."

["Oh man, ice cream would be so good." Chantilly is proving to be easily distracted :o ]

"Nice. I'm sure Sweet Sixteen is looking forward to that."

["Yeah! We should get some for dessert!" Evie says.

Cosmo the Kirlia smiles and gets up to go get some.]

"I think so too, he seems eager for the outdoors." Cali looks at Sweet Sixteen who is smirking.

Sweet Sixteen only sees the campfire as a bonus, he just wants glorious battles..Sweets no

[Chantilly perks up at the incoming ice cream, "Yay!"]

Radley chuckles. "That's good he likes it so much."

He smiles as Cosmo soon brings mint and cookie ice cream for everyone. "This is great, honey. Thanks."

Cosmo beams.

["Yay! One of the best kinds!" Evie exclaims as she starts to eat.]

Sweet Sixteen is just smirking as if he was saying 'Yes human, that is totally the thing I'm thinking about and totally not of glorious Pokemon warfare.'

"Awww...that's cute he's smiling." Cali muses at how 'adorable' Sweet Sixteen is being.

[Chantilly has wide eyes at the ice cream and is overjoyed, "This is the best meal ever."]

Radley finds the smirk a bit unsettling, but he of course has no idea what Sweet Sixteen is really thinking.

"Are all your Pokemon really into camping?" he curiously wonders.

[Cosmo looks happy that she has helped!

"Yeah! We get to eat like this all the time," Evie says happily.]

Sweet Sixteen doesn't care, he's perfectly fine with being off putting...Cali maybe you should get a nicer starter..

"We are, we'll be heading to Ecruteak City tomorrow. I already got a spare rain poncho just incase." Cali is very positive about camping out during a total down pour.

["You're so lucky! We get a rotation of sweets for desserts." Chantilly explained as she enjoyed her ice cream.]

"Probably a good idea," Radley says. He doesn't find camping in the rain fun in the least, but he doesn't say that. "Are you gonna check out the creepy burned-out tower?"

["Yummy! Radley makes sure we eat healthy things and then have treats too," Evie says. "He has all kinds of ways to make vegetables and fruit foods!"]

"Can never be too careful with rain, but I'm looking forward to it." Cali beamed before getting curious, "There's a burned out tower there? What's it like?"

["Nice! Cali's been learning to make Curry, so that's an upgrade." Chantilly explained, glad that Cali was learning some outdoor cooking skills.]

"It's spooky. Seems like a lot of Ghost types hang out there," Radley said.

["Curry tastes so good! Radley makes it at all different spiciness levels!" Evie said.]

"Holy smokes, I'm going to see if Ryver might like to visit that place then, it seems like something they might like." Cali was fully curious about visiting the burned out tower, she wants to check out the ghost Pokemon there.

["Right? It's so good, Cali makes me a mild one that I enjoy." Chantilly smiles happily that that.]

"Just be careful if you're poking around there. I'm not sure how safe it is," Radley said. He hadn't looked too much, concerned he might fall through the floor or that the rest of the building might fall on him.

["What does she put in it?" Evie eagerly asks.]

"Will do, it shouldn't be too different from the abandoned structures back home, though less radiation risks." Cali you sweet summer child, it's still a health hazard in that burned out tower.

["Oh she puts in potatoes for our curry, especially the butter one." Chantilly was now craving the butter curry potatoes.]

"That's something, at least," Radley said with a weak smirk. "Just watch out for rotting floors and beams."

[Evie looked absolutely starry-eyed. "Yummy! Potatoes are the best!"]

"Definitely a lot nicer that is for sure." Cali doesn't pick up on the weak smirk, "Oh will do, that's something to be cautious of."

[Chantilly is smiling, "It really is, just the potatoes soak up the flavors perfectly."]

"It sure is." Stuff collapsing is one of Radley's phobias after the mine experiences. "There's a lot of cool art exhibits and culture in Ecruteak too."

["Radley says there can never be too many potatoes!" Evie beams.]

"Oh neat, there's art exhibits there?" Cali was wide eyed at that one, she hadn't been to an art exhibit before.

["It's true, potatoes are the best gifts out there." There was no changing Chantilly's mind on that one.]

"There were when I was there, at least," Radley said. "I think there probably always are some."

["And cheese!" Evie squealed.]

"I'll have to see if Ryver would like to join in on the art exhibits, that sounds like a lot of fun." Cali was excited for Ecruteak City, it sounds amazing to her so far.

["Oh man yes to the cheese!" Chantilly was loving this cafe big time.]

"It's pretty interesting to check out," Radley said.

["And combining them is Heaven!" Evie said dreamily.]
