It seems like these are going around lately.

[But boy if he doesn't sound unhappy to be asking this question. His Haunter is leaning onto camera, patting his shoulder with a ghostly hand -- looking oddly solemn for a ghost. In the background is Shiro's Lairon nudging around a puffed-up and huffy Litten (newly arrived thanks to being Team Mystic earlier).]

[The Lairon pauses, looking over to his trainer, while the Litten crawls all over him in true excited kitten fashion.]

But has anyone seen Keith, lately? Dark hair, wears red. His partner was a cat. I thought he'd gone to take care of something, but... he hasn't shown up in a long time.

He'd usually be back by now.

[well she was going to comment on the Litten, but--well, she's going to focus on what's more pressing.]

Keith's missing? When was the last you've seen him?

A week or so ago. But I thought he'd be training.

[You know how that kid is and his solitary training sessions.]

... and then Haunter couldn't find him.

Well, it's not unlike him to take off on his own without a word.

[As far as she knows him, at least. She raises a brow at the mention of Haunter.]

What do you mean by that?

Yeah. I know. That's why I wasn't worried until...

[Until Haunter said there was no sign of him.]

I've asked Haunter to keep tabs on people, since it can teleport wherever it wants to. And... it can't find him.

[The Haunter shakes his head a little, murmuring sadly.]

So what you're saying is, he disappeared.

[she frowns a bit, looking off-camera, and there's an unfamiliar Pacha pacha coming off-screen before a Pachirisu comes into view, scurrying up her shoulder and essentially nosediving into her hair, her tail only visible, curling around Allura's neck like some sort of staticky scarf.

clearly someone is new here and not understanding of how serious this news is.

Allura ignores her.]

Do you think he could have somehow been brought back to our dimension?

[Haunter, meanwhile, notices. Pointing a sharp finger at the screen. Look, look Princess. You have a friend.]

Yeah. I am.

And... maybe. I don't know. That's why I'm asking around.

[yeah, she realizes that, expression faltering a bit as she moves the tail out from under her chin.

the Pachirisu meanwhile sticks her head out, Allura's white hair static-clinging to her cheeks as she peers out into the camera, grinning at the Haunter.]

Well, let me know if you hear of anything. I believe I'm about a day or two away from Violet City myself, so I'll be keeping an eye out for Keith as well.

I will. And I don't intend on moving on until you're caught up.

[Because if someone of theirs is really lost, then... then it's best to stay together, isn't it? To keep the team together.]

[Plus, there's a gym here, but it's hard to think of that when you're concerned for a teammate.]

It's regrettable, but we're prone to leaving this place as suddenly and mysteriously as we're brought here.

If you look in your 'gear, where your contacts are stored...if someone is in this world, their name and number will be listed. If they're no longer here, it won't be.

Disappeared...

[He takes a deep breath, and pushes his hand through his hair.] I'll check that. Thank you.

[Oh dear. That doesn't sound good. Armin has a good feeling he knows what has happened here. Still, he considers Shiro a friend. He can't really do anything here but he wants to offer something anyway.]

Have you... found out anything yet?

[When he answers, he doesn't exactly look any more cheerful. But he pushes a hand through his hair in an attempt to get his act together.]

Looks like if people are sent home, somehow... their IDs drop off our 'gear.

I'm looking through mine, now.

[Armin doesn't really know what to say. He already did a precursory check for anyone called Keith on the ID list, but hadn't found anyone named like that. Of course, there is a chance he missed it. He, after all, only knows his first name.]

Hopefully it won't be necessary but... apparently when people disappear from this world, sometimes their pokemon go to other people. My friend received a pokemon like that.

[He glances back behind him, to the pokemon wrestling idly around.]

I haven't gotten anything of his. Maybe... that means he's still around somewhere.

[Armin's voice is very careful, like he is taking great care to pick his words.]

Perhaps. His pokemon may also have gone to other people, even ones he might not have known so well. It might be worth checking that out too. You did mention there were several people of your team here, right. Maybe they...

[He lets it trail off there. He's certain Shiro can fill in the blanks. And if this Keith guy is gone, maybe at least having his pokemon around is a comfort.]

I can ask, yeah.

[But Allura didn't seem like she'd gotten anything from Keith. Lance probably would have screamed about it. Hunk... there's an option.]

Sometimes... people do return to this world. Perhaps he will as well.

I don't know if him coming back is a good thing.

I'd... almost feel better if more of my team were back home.

Did you get a 'this number does not exist' error, or just the 'can't pick up right now' recording?

[There's really not much else left, is there? But it still feels heavy. Wrong. Like he should know what to do here. What to say to her -- even if she's offering him sympathy, instead of the other way around.]

I don't know if I'd call it 'often', necessarily, but... it happens enough that it's a thing.
